food is great but they start kiciking you out about a half hour before they close. we go there a few times per year to celebrate birthdays and while i love the food, they are anything but we always feel unwanted when its close to closing time. even the cooks will come out and stare at you- even when they're open for another 20 minutes.

Got two chicken kebab take out this Friday. There were no mushrooms after I specifically asked if it were part of the kebab so was very disappointed. I also didn’t realize there was only a quarter of a pita served with lunch. I’ve only had this at work when reps bring this in, I guess catered to us When I went inside. It was very cute and quaint $34 for lunch. Could’ve been more impressed elsewhere I guess.

Mediterranean Bistro is one of my go-to spots when I’m craving incredible Mediterranean food. I’ve been here a few times, and every visit reminds me why it’s one of my favorites — the food is simply amazing. Every dish bursts with authentic flavors that keep me coming back for more.

I will say, the service can be hit or miss. They often get so busy that warmth and attentiveness sometimes fall through the cracks. It doesn’t ruin the experience entirely, but if I were going for the service alone, I might think twice.

Luckily, the food more than makes up for it. If you’re a fan of Mediterranean flavors, this place is worth it — just come hungry and maybe pack a little extra patience. Highly recommend the food!

I was the last customer seated during lunch service. The restaurant had only four tables occupied, with approximately 10–15 empty tables. Despite the availability, the waitress seated me between two tables where guests were speaking loudly. When I politely asked to be moved to a quieter spot, she responded, “Sweetheart, you’re by yourself—I’m not going to seat you at a table meant for three or four people.”

This response was dismissive and unnecessarily condescending, especially given the number of available tables. It’s disappointing to be treated as less deserving of comfort simply because I was dining alone. Hospitality should be about making every guest feel welcome—regardless of party size.
I have eaten in tens of Persian restaurants all over the country, their food would be ranked below average to average level.

Amazing food in a cozy atmosphere. Don't miss this. Try the habenaro sauce on the humus for starter. Then beef or shrimp shishkabab.

This restaurant imposes a mandatory 20-25% gratuity on takeout orders while also inflating prices beyond what’s listed on the menu. Over the years, we have dined in and ordered takeout often, but in recent months, the pricing discrepancies have become significant. Menu prices no longer match the final bill, even after toggling between lunch and dinner menus. Most recently, our order—expected to total $44.45—was instead charged at $91, with no clear explanation.

Service has also declined noticeably. Dine-in visits now come with long waits for assistance and refills, making what used to be an enjoyable experience frustrating. Takeout, which once took only 15 minutes, now takes 30, yet the food often sits on the counter getting cold before it’s picked up on time. When concerns about pricing or service are raised, responses from staff have been dismissive and condescending rather than helpful.

Beyond the hidden upcharges, there are automatic gratuities of 20-25% that apply inconsistently. The threshold for these extra charges seems to change, as confirmed by my own experiences and other reviews. The restaurant also pushes unnecessary add-ons, like sauces and bread, implying they don’t come with meals—only for them to be included anyway and added to the bill. These tactics appear to be deliberate ways to increase charges and inflate the final cost. While I usually tip generously, these deceptive practices have made it clear I won’t be returning.

The food itself is average, and the atmosphere does little to make up for the poor experience. During our dine-in visit, servers openly complained about their jobs and colleagues within earshot of guests. To make matters worse, staff vacuumed the dining area while several tables were still eating, making conversation difficult. Overall, the experience is not worth the inflated prices, poor service, and uncomfortable dining environment.

I had an incredible combo kebab lunch at Mediterranean Bistro, and it exceeded all expectations. The rice was perfectly fluffy, bursting with flavor, and complemented the meal beautifully. Both the chicken and beef kebabs were cooked to perfection—succulent, moist, and incredibly tender. Every bite was a delight. The hummus, however, was the true star—creamy, rich, and absolutely out of this world. The flavors were authentic and satisfying, making for an unforgettable dining experience. I highly recommend Mediterranean Bistro to anyone craving top-notch Mediterranean cuisine!

This place was comfortable and cozy. But the food took way too long to come, and in the end was blah. The ice tea was good. The Greek salad was not a Greek salad though it tasted okay.Service was so slow we did not order dessert.

Had a CONFIRMED reservation for 6PM tonight. Drove across town to find their doors closed and a sign saying dinning room closed at 12:45. Another sign saying will be back at 5! No message on their voice recording stating they were closed!!
