Easily the best sandwiches in omaha. Also their bread is great. Staff is friendly too. Surprised more people don’t talk about this place.

Just a ridiculously good sandwich made to order that doesn't nearly cost the value that it has. I got a daily special reuben and it was special. They have amazing house made bread and the bread had a great outside crisp due to proper toasting, but also had a great chewy mouth feel on the inside.
Their service was good, but I honestly would not care if the food is this good.

Best sandwich I’ve had in Omaha!! So excited to finally have a good sandwich shop for quick lunches in the city. The focaccia is truly to die for, and everything tasted fresh and comforting. The staff were incredibly friendly, and fast and the desserts were superb as well. Would recommend this place to anyone!

The sandwiches here & the women running the place are just the best!! Sandwich pictured was called the Bourdain. I got the optional Slaw for +$1, and it was worth the extra dollar! I’ve also tried their plant based sandwiches and they are teaching me to love veggies I didn’t know I loved. Who could’ve known a summer squash sandwich would be so perfect? If you live downtown it’s big fun to walk here on a good weather day and get a sandwich for a park picnic at Gene Leahy just a couple blocks away. On a medium weather day it’s great to bring a sammy back home. I’m studying for major exams right now and these sandwiches are bringing me joy in my time of difficulty ?

Always amazing service from friendly people. I've also picked up some great fresh, local ingredients on occasion when I'm preparing a meal. So happy to have Mercer & Sons here!
