Passing along a not-so-happy experience. After the Fish Fry we experienced a Fish Fry Tour first. We were asked to leave Mitch's Pub and not return. Why? Because our party of 13 was too much for Mitch's to handle. We were treated rudely and said we should have called ahead. Really? We have never called ahead to any bar we have gone to after a Fish Fry. They can't handle a party of 13?!?! The bar was not even crowded! They declined any drink that was difficult to make like an espresso martini. Ok, I get that but they also declined giving us one water. They only gave it to us after we had to explain that it was for our friend that was 9 months pregnant. Seriously! Needless to say we will not be going back to Mitch's Pub. We ended up going to Geno's. We were appreciated and received amazing service and got an espresso martini!

This is a great bar. The TVs are huge and the huskers were on. That’s always a win. Liked the friendly bartender and the fast service and good drink prices. But what I especially liked was that the whole bar - including the bathroom- smelled nice. Like, not cheap air freshener, but actually nice fragrance. It did not smell like a typical dive bar. It’s the little things.
