Fantastic ambience! The food was excellent (Steak Frites) and the cocktails are amazing! Highly recommend for date night or a celebratory evening.

The hostess/server/bartender was set up for failure being there with no other dining room help. She did great, but management needs to plan staffing better.

Everything was great, but the Beef Wellington was over cooked. Asked for medium rare and it came well done. Was still a good tender piece of steak and still delicious. I would go back.

It was our first visit there and we absolutely loved every part of it! The atmosphere was amazing and the employees were extremely friendly! The food was fantastic, and the price was not bad at all!

We wanted to have an extra special breakfast with our freshman-in-college daughter's family weekend. Our server did her best, but seemed to be the only one working in the front of the house. It was FREEZING in the restaurant - so much so that we tried to speed up the breakfast process that was painfully slow. The food was fine - or even good - but not what was advertised. Additionally, there was no bartender, so breakfast cocktails weren't an option (as was advertised). This is a beautiful space and likely a more wonderful experience during other meal times, but wasn't a fit for the experience we were expecting.

We went for Omaha restaurant week. The food was fabulous. We weren't rushed. We got to visit and enjoy family time. Perfect evening!

Service was incredible, even for a large party of 10. We were seated promptly, drink orders taken and delivered (and very good), food orders taken and appropriately prepared and DELICIOUS. Outstanding venue!!

The drink from the bar was horrible I couldn't even drink it($16)...then my friend had a salad but they forgot my soup until the meal was delivered. Tiramisu for dessert was disappointing. Server was very polite though

It’s really simple - hire more people. More wait staff. More kitchen staff. If you are going to advertise that you are open, you actually have to staff it with workers. Whoever the current general manager is should be fired immediately and replaced with someone who knows how to run a restaurant. We ordered, waited over 30 minutes for our food and finally left. Also, $3.50 for the 8 oz can of soda?? You’re making about $3.40 per can. Ridiculous.

It appeared they were understaffed and were trying to stay afloat. The table was not ready for us and our drinks never were refilled. I ordered the berries and bleu salad and they did not dress it with the vinaigrette. The steak entrée was good.

We had the Beef Wellington ! What an experience together we had. The staff was so sweet and answered questions and offered advice. The Beef Wellington was out of the park 10 Stars ! Visit Monarch if you ever are in Omaha !

First time dining at Monarch. We were there for our anniversary before going to a show at the Orpheum. Service was attentive. Drinks were good, bread and salad tasty and main courses delicious!

Great venue, great food, great service! I truly appreciate that they pay very close attention to Gluten Free dietary needs. My wife is allergic and their accommodations are outstanding and appreciated!

My husband and I went to The Monarch for dinner. We had excellent service. We both ordered the Steak Frite cooked medium rare. The steak was juicy and tender, very tasty. The fries are SO GOOD! The restaurant is part of a hotel built in the early 1930's, the decor was very nice. It's a small quaint restaurant with excellent service.

Apps were awesome the Steak and Frites was really good. Chicken Roulade was just ok, pretty dry and the potatoes had no seasoning what so ever did not match the description on the menu. Carrots were basically uncooked just peeled and glazed. Was a neat spot that could be really awesome. For the price though I will go somewhere else next time.
