Disappointed overall. Over an hour before we got our drinks. Food was cold. They reheated my food in the microwave. Very disappointing.

We have eaten at both locations. We went to the one in Old Market for their Easter buffet. It was outstanding. So much food to pick from and everything was delicious. Carving station with pork tenderloin and banana foster French toast. Salad table and a fruit and pastry table. Omelet station with tons of options. The main section had main courses plus numerous side dishes. Our server, Sam, was excellent. She was engaging, a delight to talk to and made sure we had whatever we needed. Definitely will return for the next buffet.

Went in to the Old Market location for a date night last night, and I’ve gotta say: we picked the right place! The food, the service, the ambiance were all perfect.I hadn’t been in for a couple of months, and immediately noticed new lamps at our table for two as well as across the bar. Such a great aesthetic, and it made reading the menus and seeing our food so much better! A small difference that made a huge impact. We started off with the Boudin Balls, which are always a win…delicious starter without filling you up to much. I ordered the Kickin Chicken and added blackened shrimp. My date ordered the meatloaf and ate every bite. I happily had the rest of my pasta for lunch today.Topher was our server, and he did a great job throughout. He answered all of our questions and made some great suggestions. We’ll definitely be asking for him when we come back.
This is anice place good service ...the food is.... eh! For southern food it was incredibly bland ...boudan balls put on salad dressing but not much of taste except fryer grease....BBQ wings were cooked well and had taste due to BBQ sauce....fried okra and onion rig cooked well but very blah...salt would have been helpful. The shrimp and grits had flavor but grits were clumpy.Shrimp poorboy was ....well ...a hard bun with salad dressing on dumped all over it.the shrimp were good but the rest wasn't edible soggy onions and pickles.Over all a descent attempt for New Orleans classics but was bit disappointing for the price..and didn't taste quite like New Orleans.

Truly pleasantly blown away by our lunch here. Seemed a little kitschy, but the food delivered. The Cajun salad and bisque really delivered.

We ventured in on a Monday afternoon. Not too many people in, but unfortunately, only one bar tender. She was completely overwhelmed, which is totally understandable, but the work station was really quite messy and just kept getting worse over the course of the hour we stayed. We each ordered a drink after about 15-20 mins of waiting, and a couple of apps. The drinks were fine and the apps were ok as well.

Just like being in the south. Lot's of southern comfort food. The gumbo was irresistible, and the jambalaya was so good. My main dish was the burger with crawfish mac and cheese - messy but yummy ?

Love this location. The building and decor are beautiful. The food is always consistent, and tastes amazing, and it comes pretty quickly after ordering. My favorite restaurant to visit before a show at the Orpheum.
Everyone in our group loved their food and the service was excellent. Fantastic beer selection and so many great menu choices. The perfect place for dinner before or after Creighton games. We will definitely be back.

Music was awesome but not many places to see the band, didn't seem like they were ready for customer's that early.
