I was throwing a 50th birthday party for my brother and they said they would arrange for their normal karaoke DJ to come out but I’d have to pay the whole karaoke DJ fee, which was fine. I checked in with them three times to make sure everything was set and they said it was. Here I am now, no karaoke and the bartender knows nothing of the situation. When asked if she could contact the manager to find out where the DJ was, she said it was a slim chance they would have his number and chose not to call the manager. I sleuthed on the DJs Facebook only to find out he’s doing karaoke at another bar and that no one from the Drinkaway Lounge had asked home to be here. That’s some awesome customer service. Glad my brother only turns 50 once….I say sarcastically.

The bartender, the DJ, and even all of the customers were a lot of fun and also very kind & friendly! I definitely recommend this place if you're so over all of the pretentious, fancy places.
Pretty good bar food, at really decent prices. They were out of a few items definitely have to go back to try those but overall it was a pretty good experience, I left before the live music got going but that look like it could be a good time as well

I took my children here for dinner and was a little nervous at first that it might not be a good fit for kids but by the end we all were super comfortable and loved the food. The service was great and I was pleasantly surprised by the relatively low prices and the high quality of the food. We will definitely be back!
