Dinner reservation with family. Service was excellent and food was wonderful.

I ordered the “Spaghetti Bolognese” to go. The pasta sauce is delicious. Portion sizes leave you wanting more, but that can be good or bad. Would be a great spot to bring a date or meet with friends. Also the customer service is superb, it has that small business “we care” feel.

On this Wednesday night I had a delicious starter salad, Ravioli Di Carne (beef) and a glass of red wine; all for $38. It was outstanding, I didn’t expect such delicious and authentic Italian cuisine in Omaha. John was a great server. The inside is a bit small but they have outdoor seating. Highly recommend.

Good quality food with generous portions at a reasonable price. The service was friendly and fast. I recommend calling for reservations prior coming as this is a small venue. Unfortunately I had to mark them down one star for atmosphere. (it was 77° inside restaurant on a warm sunny day, when I asked my waiter about it, he said that it’s normally warmer when the patio doors open ) obviously this is an easy fix to get that extra star.
On a whole, it was a great experience eating here and I would come back again.

We are in town from Des Moines and wanted to find Italian in the Old Market area where we are staying. We loved how the patio had plenty of shade and was very inviting. People were so approachable and we actually chatted with three tables that were close by. Service was great and the food was fabulous! I am a fettuccine alfredo guy but went out of my comfort zone and got the pasta with a lemon cream sauce and salmon. Home run! I also ordered some meatballs that were awesome. My son had a lobster bisque type soup....my daughter had lobster ravioli....and my wife had a dish with shrimp, zucchini, and sauteed veggies. We all tried eachothers plates and were very happy with everything in front of us. Will totally be back and also will be recommending this spot to everyone I talk to. I only have one minor complaint. I am not a fan of vinegarette and they have only one dressing for their salads.... a red wine vinegarette dressing. A creamy parmesean would be fabulous. ?

The tiramisu was the most disgusting food I’ve ever been served at a restaurant and ruined the meal. The three other people dining with me all tried it and each spat it out in disgust.The pasta was good, though.

I've been going to Nicola's since they first opened and dropped off a little flyer at the hotel where I worked. We had our first date in 2006 at Nicola's and have celebrated almost every anniversary and Valentine's Day there since. The lasagna is unparalleled and the bruschetta is *chef's kiss.* The specials we've tried have always been amazing, as has the service. The patio is so enjoyable when the weather nice, too!
Absolute treasure! Every dish was crafted to perfection - including the dessert. All women's kitchens and the chefs have been at it for 22 years. Perfect spot for a date night, celebration, or if you are in need of a delicious Italian dinner. The red sauce was incredible. Highly recommend! Make a reservation, because tables are limited.
