If you are in the mood for Oklahoma Joe's, head to KC and find one of the multiple "KC Joe's" restaurants because this place is a fraud. Their "Q sandwich" which is a feeble attempt at the far superior "z-man", is laughable at best. If you like this place, you suck at life. Also, the Anthony Bourdain review they claim is most definitely not for THIS restaurant. It was for KC Joe's, which was originally called Oklahoma Joe's. This is MacDowells, for those "Coming to America" Fans

The food was delicious and very hot. The people were fabulous that were waiting on us. The selection had quite a lot of choices for you to decide.

They hosted free lunch for Google Fiber the people at Joe's was great! Food is really good just couldn't give 5 stars about 4 and a half green beans was really good but a bit over salted. If you use bacon you really don't need extra salt. Brisket was tender and juicy but a bit over cooked I like mine mooing a bit. But! It was still very very good.

Very normal seating for an urban BBQ shop. Loved the breaded whole Okra (never seen this before)! The brisket was not particularly tender. I'll give them another shot in the future.

Mediocre BBQ.Cornbread wasn't impressive - my box of Jiffy brand cornbread tasted better.Chicken wings were alright - I thought they'd be a bit crisper with being fried to order but the outside was rather soggy. Sauce was tasty!Brisket sandwich was decent. Not as tender as I prefer. Fry seasoning was good.Ranch was delicious.Over priced for the quality of food in my opinion.

Our stop for Valentine's dinner. No wait and the food was good. Husband was a little disappointed because they were out of baked potatoes but he enjoyed his turkey salad.

I've eaten at the Restaurant numerous times and food was great. Had it Doordashed earlier and was very disappointed. Portion size was small, toast was merely bread, Pickles soggy. The sausage had zero smoke taste and the Brisket also had no flavor and was dry. Lastly had less than a Ketchup packet of BBQ sauce on my meat.

Everything has sauce on it. Sliced brisket is little chunks. Why on earth would you put sauce ON everything?
