Stepping into Old Chicago is like taking a delightful trip down memory lane. It's not about fine dining or gourmet extravagance, but it has a charm and comfort that’s hard to beat. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a hint of nostalgia that makes you feel right at home.

The food may not be the best you’ve ever had, but it’s decent enough to satisfy your cravings. The pizza is a standout, with a crispy crust and generous toppings, reminding you of the good old days. Their selection of beers is impressive, making it a great spot for casual get-togethers.

Old Chicago isn’t about culinary perfection; it’s about good times, great company, and meals that hit the spot. Whether you’re reminiscing about past visits or creating new memories, this place has a special kind of magic that keeps you coming back. If you're looking for a laid-back dining experience with a side of nostalgia, Old Chicago is the place to be.

It was my first visit for happy hour at Old Chicago so maybe I don't understand how it works, but I don't think I paid happy hour prices for the happy hour items I got during happy hour and when I asked the waitress she said she'd check but just had me pay my bill so idk? Overall, everything was pretty good, so I'll go back to give it another try!
They have a guy playing guitar on Mondays, so that was kinda fun!

Called to place a TO GO order and to make a long story short, the girl who took my order clearly doesnt have a future in anything other than her current position there. The manager who came to address my issue (a black lady) shouldnt be in a Managerial position. Instead of apologizing for the issue and simply saying she will address where the employee went wrong and make sure she knows the correct way to handle the issue in the future, she had an attitude when i proved her wrong and walked off. We have eaten there 3x and the employees let you stand there at the door while they all just walk by looking at you, but will never say "someone will be with you in just a moment". Im honestly tired of the $h!t service at this place and wont come back. Clearly even the "managment" needs an attitude adjustment and training.

Got pizza for the first time. I've been missing out. Probably the best food here.

With the grill so hot, I'd expect my food much faster.

This place closes by 10:30pm. It does not serve food or drinks till 11pm. False advertising. If it closes early, then they should be honest and post the actual closing time.

45 minute wait for our salad and sandwich today, which were dry and flavorless. The staff was less than friendly and seemed very unorganized. I rarely leave bad reviews, but this was a horrible experience. Kicking myself for not asking for a discount. Yikes!

Do not come when the blond lady is working. She changes every song to some weird music. Everyone we know that comes up here has left because of this. The food was good but very slow.

We went there after my daughters college graduation. We made reservations but someone else took our table, within 15 minutes they had another table set up in a section where we were by ourselves!! Our waitress McKenzie was fantastic! She went above and beyond letting us know when our drinks and food would be ready!!! The food was amazing and came out hot! We will definitely be visiting again and hopefully we will be seated in McKenzie’s section again!!

Always consistent great food. Must not be the only one who thinks so. Knee deep in COVID there was a line wrapped around the parking lot of people waiting to get take out. Not all Old Chicago are the same. COVID Shut down the one on 76th and Dodge. So the one on 144th and center must be unanimously better than the rest!

I used to come here for lunch often and thought it would be a great spot for lunch but I was WRONG. Not only was the service slow, the FOOD wasn't completely cooked, the soda was flat, the server was un-educated regarding the menu, and the manager was rude.We were told that the menu item we wanted and the server left to confirm, after being gone for several minutes she returned but by then that part of my party had left. Since I'd waited so long I asked for it to go because I had a virtual meeting. I sat in the parking lot planning to eat and conclude my meeting. After the send bite I realized the dough wasn't cooked all the way. I went back in to speak with someone but was net with resistance about the fact that I waited an hour to complain about a cold pizza. The complaint was that the pizza was undercooked not cold but the manager didn't listen to understand the issue.I would only recommend going there if you'd like to be unhappy.

Vegetarian options: They barely have any. They do have a fe gourmet toppings but no meat alternative options.

Kid-friendliness: They didn't have any crayons to go along with the kids menu activities.
