Picture it. Omaha. 2004. A young couple enjoying a late-evening dinner, on a beautiful patio, at a restaurant in Dundee. She's enjoying the mac n cheese. He, the smoked chicken lasagna. Together, they enjoy three bottles of riesling, one chocolate dessert, and (because why not), a couple of cigars they purchased at a nearby shop. As you can guess, that "he", was ME. Twenty-one years later, I heard about "Ooh De Lally" opening in the same location. I perused the online menu, and was thrilled to see that they serve our favorite dishes from when it was the last place (Mark's Mac n Cheese, and the Smoked Chicken Lasagna). As you can imagine, it was a no-brainer to set up a surprise date night, with that same beautiful lady (now my wife of 19 years), on that same beautiful patio. Her Mark's Mac n Cheese, and my Smoked Chicken Lasagna were even more delicious then we remember. We each enjoyed the same house cocktail, "Tiki Me Away" (Planteray Pineapple Rum, Banana, Orgeat, Lime, Dark Rum Float & Firewater Bitters). For dessert, the love of my life enjoyed the Key Lime Tart, and I jammed on the whiskey bread pudding. Now here's where the restaurant hit the third part of the trifecta (food, atmosphere, & service). Our server, Kristin (aka, The Bob Ross of Sauce) took, what was already a wonderful evening, to a whole new level, with her charisma & personality. And it wasn't just Kristin, the entire staff took care of us and made us feel so welcome. This place is a gem. Patronize it often. Tell your friends about it. Put the word out on social media. Keep this place open. Read about it's mission, and you'll see it's good for the community, and it's good for humanity.
We had an amazing experience at Ooh De Lally, the service was impeccable and everyone’s food at our table tasted incredible! Highly recommend the lobster roll and the crab and sweet corn croquettes. 10/10 all around and will definitely make this a regular stop when we are in town!
Love the food, delicious and pretty presentation! Classy and fun atmosphere, the drinks are amazing and unique!
This place is amazing. The food is unique, distinctive, and the egg shakshuka, will take your breath away with its distinctive spices that blend into one flavorful pop. You won't be disappointed. Every food item and drink served is a delicious delight. The servers and chefs craft the food with care and it shows. Go. You won't be disappointed. And Nicole the manager and bartender is knowledgeable and very informative.

We went to dinner mid-summer, heading back tomorrow (mid-November) for brunch. Service was attentive and gregarious, the dining room set-up was very calm & neat, and the food was fantastic (the scallops were easily the best I've had in the Midwest, and the Mac&Cheese was a wonderful homage to the Mark's classic Mac&Cheese). The sole issue was the naming of the 'Crab Croquettes'; my dudes, just call them 'The Best Crabcakes in Omaha!' and be done with it. A SERIOUS undersell of an amazing dish! Looking forward to brunch tomorrow!

We reserved space with Oo De Lally for a corporate group, and they were extremely kind and catered to all the random questions and requests we had. They even allowed us to pivot last minute to a space within the restaurant that would be most comfortable for the group. They were hospitable and attentive throughout our whole meal, and my team left full and happy! We all agreed we would be taking families back later.

Food was great. I had the soup, salmon, side of mac & cheese, & the chocolate creme brulee. I loved it all. Glad I have left overs so I can have some of it tomorrow :)
Parking: We had an early Saturday reservation, 4PM. At that time we could park right in front of restaurant.

Incredible service, amazing atmosphere (we sat on the patio), love the greenery. I had the scallops, which were cooked perfectly. The desserts on our neighbors table also looked absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

**10/10 Experience at Ooh De Lally – A Culinary Gem with a Purpose**
We recently dined at Ooh De Lally in Omaha and was thoroughly impressed with both the food and the mission behind it. Here's a quick breakdown:
- **Mussels Appetizer**: Perfectly seasoned and tender, with a flavorful broth.
- **Crab Cakes**: Crisp on the outside, moist on the inside, bursting with fresh crab flavor.
- **Scallops**: Cooked to perfection—golden sear, tender and buttery texture.
- **Craft Cocktails**: Creative, balanced, and expertly crafted.
Beyond the exceptional dining experience, what truly sets Ooh De Lally apart is their mission. The restaurant supports Metro Community College’s Culinary Arts and Re-Entry Assistance programs, empowering individuals through culinary education and providing second chances. It’s a rare gem that offers not only amazing food but also meaningful community impact.
Highly recommend—both for the food and the cause!

Great cocktails and outside patio! The shortrib fries were tasty but a little soggy. Overall food was good but not great. Our server was really friendly though and even took the time to explain the history behind the name!

Atmosphere perfect. Service excellent. Food amazing. ??? Brussels for appetizer, enjoyed by all. 4 meals - mac and cheese, short ribs, lobster roll, crab croquettes- we all tasted all and there we no complaints! Cleaned our plates and would eat any of these again. Desserts - bread pudding and dark chocolate creme Brule- both very good. Definitely one of Omaha's best restaurants!!
