I just can’t say enough about this place. We decided to visit here for Valentine’s Day and it really was perfect.
The food was incredible! We started with some bruschetta, which was so good. We ordered Chicken Parmigiana with angel hair pasta, red, for him and I had the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. Both of our meals were delicious, so full of flavor. We decided on the Tiramisu for dessert and it was divine.
The service was great, our server was very friendly and attentive. We had questions and she was so helpful. Before we left she brought us two white chocolate covered strawberries for a Valentine treat.
As for atmosphere, it was amazing. We loved everything about this place and if I haven’t made you intrigued yet, they had a cute Valentine Photo Booth type photo after dinner, free of charge. Really enjoyed the extra touch

Food was so bland. I had the clam linguini and my spouse had the chicken Alfredo. Both tasted as if someone opened a jar of store bought sauce and just poured it on top of pasta. Plus I became really sick later that night into the next day. Would not recommend.

Less than stellar compared to a month ago. 2 of us ordered the lasagna, both had very little meat on the first 2 layers, then the next layers had no meat whatsoever and very modest cheese. I don't know what changed in this past month, but we were both very disappointed. The other dish was squid, which was cooked to perfection, and the other dish was Alfredo and brocollini that was good. Don't know if we'll be back.

Yeah I know it's been in Omaha staple since 1986, but it's loud, tightly packed, the food has suffered (although if you're into it, I do recommend the squid steaks, top quality). It used to be a must-see, now it's a maybe. The manager on duty seemed only half interested in his job.

Have been going to Pasta Amore for 30+ years. We were booked in the bar area, but the hostess was able to get us a table in the main dining area in very short order. Very nice. Downhill from there. Service was slow and inattentive. ordered Veal Parmigiana. Veal was tough and pricey. Also had the tortellini which was undercooked and looked more like soup than a creamy pasta dish. Had to send that dish back. We will probably return as everyone has an off night, but we will avoid those two dishes.
Very disappointing compared to a month ago. We were a party of 4 with reservations Saturday night; 2 of us ordered the lasagna which we've had many times before. This time was very different, little scant of meat sauce on the first couple of layers, the rest was lasagna noodles, no meat with very little sauce and cheese. The other to meals of squid and pasta, and an Alfredo with bocolini were both good. Not sure what happened with the lasagna, or if we'll be back sorry to say.
Went on a Friday evening just my wife and I. Had been there in a while, but always like it. We were seated way in the back next to the kitchen, they even had the mixer covered poorly with a bed sheet. Service was slow, the waiter informed us that it would speed up since a large party was leaving. This was really upsetting since it ment we weren't getting equal service. Food was okay, but nothing I would want to come back for anytime soon. Overall disappointing since there are few really good Italian options in Omaha.
I took my girlfriend here for a birthday dinner, and it was calm and relaxing. The food was hot when it got there, the waiter was always attending to us it was perfect. You can't compare this to places like Olive Garden its a way better experience.
We had a lovely time celebrating our birthdays. Thank you to the staff for going above and beyond to make our nights so special. The birthday card was incredibly sweet and made us feel so cared for. We were truly filled with gratitude. The pasta was delicious, and the bread with whipped truffle butter was absolutely divine.
I was here for a work Christmas/New Year's get today. We were in a back room area, We didn't sit in the normal part of the restaurant. But the atmosphere walking thru the restaurant to our sitting area was pleasant. It was a nice chill environment. The service was more then pleasant, the wait staff was on top of it. They were quick and friendly. The pasta that came with the prime rib was the best, I should have ask for more. The prime rib was great, I will receive some backlash for this but I'm not a fan of pink meat. It was good but I prefer a little mine cooked a little more. Overall it was a good place the boss has chosen.

We were excited to try out a new, fancy Italian restaurant. My wife ordered the chicken Alfredo and I ordered the combination pasta entree. We were both underwhelmed with the taste that felt pretty bland for a 30$ entree.
If you work hard to earn your money, you might as well save it and go to Olive Garden.
If you want good quality Italian food there are way better options in town

This was our first time at Pasta Amore. We don't eat out at Italian often due to a food allergy of my husband's. We saw that he would have several options on the menu and decided to give it a try. When ordering, we shared the information with our server who made suggestions and also told the kitchen. The food was delightful! Bonus, we have enough left over for today's dinner. I would highly recommend Pasta Amore for date nights, family dinners, etc.
