I got the P3 pho. Added some chili oil and I didn’t want the pho to end. So good and flavorful. Definitely coming back! Thai tea is one of the best.

I like to give a place a few visits before reviewing, and this was my 3rd time back to try Pho 79.
Upon entering, you are greeted by 2 gals sitting at a table on their phones. Asked if you are dining in, one of them points to table and says “sit wherever you like”, not even getting up. The atmosphere was nonexistent and no towels in the bathroom. Storage boxes piled on tables in the dining room. Outdoor temperature was mid-50s and felt about the same inside. Very cold and made my pho cold halfway through.

The combo pho had little taste and the beef cuts were tough with no rare beef to speak of. The sides seemed old…wilty bruised Basil, jalapeño looking like it was sliced days ago. The broth was mediocre for a place having pho in the name. I tried the egg rolls on one visit and don’t recommend.

Not a good dining experience and probably won’t return. Would recommend pho at other places in Omaha.

Absolutely delicious! I had my food delivered and the broth was still piping hot when I got it. All the add ins were fresh and the meat was yummy. Portions are huge and the spice in the sauce was the perfect amount for me and my cold. I plan to be back in the near future!

me and a friend came in around 7:30 and immediately when we came in a lady with short blonde hair was like “im trying to get out of here tell me what you want” “we close at 9” in a very rude manner she seemed that she honestly didnt wanna be there herself, the food is not really the best and im a lover of pho, atmosphere is backrooms mixed with some faint charlie puth songs in the background, if it wasnt for the fried rice being good wouldve given no stars, fix that staff members manners or get someone new!

Good pho! Best in town. Bun bo hue broth was milder in flavor than I prefer, but noodles were good. Portion sizes are gracious and greens are fresh.

My husband and I went and had the Pho. It is always amazing. So far, this has been the best place that I have found for Pho near me. This was our first time dining in (I usually order take out), and it may very well be the last. The atmosphere is very much a hole in the wall place that is not known to many, which adds to the charm, but the hostess/ server/ cashier (all the same person) was a bit odd. It may be her first job or something of that nature, but she made my husband and I feel awkward. She would holler from across the restaurant to ask if everybody was doing okay. And by everybody, I mean the 2 tables that were occupied, or she would walk up as I had a mouthful and would ask if everything was okay and waited until I finished that bite and answered her myself even though my husband answered for us and I said mmhmm. I had a full glass of water, minus a drink or 2, and she came over and asked if I needed more water. Things like that.

So even though the food was amazing, we couldn't get out of there quick enough.

The worst food poisoning of my life. I had to go to the ER. Never again.

We loved the spring rolls, the sandwiches, and the pho. Oooo! And the Thai tea. Shout out to Chloe ( I think she made our food) ! Definitely driving out here again! They are open late!

Vegetarian options: They are happy to switch out any of the meat for tofu in the dishes that are not already in the veterinarian section!

Kid-friendliness: Friendly waiters, booths to contain the children, a basket of chopsticks on the table.

Every time I come here the pho is spectacular. I get excited when I feel a cold coming on just so I can have another excuse to come here. I get the combination with meatball and the broth is so aromatic and delicious. Served with bean sprouts, Thai basil, jalepenos, and lime, the bahn mi is also super good!
