The shrimp pho (phò tōm) is hands down my favorite in Omaha, along with the tapioca homemade dumplings and crab rangoon’s! Everything is reasonably priced as well, and kid/family friendly.

This was some pretty bad pho, noodles underdone and beef was low grade. The crab Rangoon was very old and the ingredients were subpar. The fried rice was just rice, off brand frozen mixed veggies with some shrimp sprinkled on the top. The noodles in the spring rolls were extremely overdone, so at least they keep you on your toes with noodle inconsistency. Overly priced. All in all it was pretty gross. Do not recommend.

You know those restaurants where you can clearly tell they're trying to cut costs and nickel and dime you? That's our experience with Pho 79.Some friends of ours told us this was the best pho in Omaha so we were super excited to try it. I'll have to say, we almost certainly will skip them in the future. The good: Vietnamese coffee. It's probably the best we've had in this city. Just one sip will widen your eyes and give you the kick in the pants you want. The mixed reaction: The pho. We ordered both the combination and the medium rare beef. Flavor wise, the broth was decent but nothing special. The meat was overall good. However the portion sizes were obviously way too small, I'm not the biggest eater but I probably could have had two bowls to be filling. It's clear that they've portioned already expensive pho so that you order extra noodles. They barely gave any of the herbs/veggies that come with pho as well. The ugly: chicken wings and vegetable spring rolls. The chicken wings stunk - I mean that literally. It was rank and my wife pushed it as far away from her as she could. Let's be clear - we aren't strangers to food with strong odors (half our fridge is kimchi), but this was on another level. Seems like they put way too much fish sauce on the wings without really much anything else to flavor. The vegetable spring rolls should not be called that. We literally got a single leaf of lettuce, a tiny piece of fried tofu (that tasted off), and a huge pile of noodles. Really poor.

Yesterday I tried your rare beef pho through Uber eats and experienced signs of food poisoning, I had severe body aches , chills, a fever of 103, and was vomiting all night. I won’t be trying this restaurant

I’ve been obsessed with the medium rare steak & pork rolls for weeks now! This is the best pho broth I’ve ever had, hands down. The chef also includes the perfect amount of spice, if you choose to use it. I can’t say enough good things about this amazing restaurant.

Ordered delivery. I got a banh mi, my boyfriend got pho with medium rare steak & we shared spring rolls. We also each got a Vietnamese iced coffee. I decided on the BBQ pork for the banh mi, which was quite good. However, the sauce wasn't really evenly distributed throughout the sandwich so I got very little spice for awhile & then an unexpectedly spicy bite about halfway through. I think it was my first time trying Vietnamese spring rolls & to be honest the sauce was not my personal favorite, but the rolls were huge & very fresh. Another one of my personal weirdo takes is that I avoid ordering soup or soup-like dishes cuz I'm not a fan of broth. That being said, I tried some of my boyfriend's pho & wish I had just ordered that instead. I love Vietnamese iced coffee & they absolutely crushed it with theirs.

Went there last night. 10/10 across the board. Best pho I’ve ever had. There starters are great. They’ve perfected their craft. I recommend the spicy beef pho and the spring rolls with peanut sauce! Not sure what his name was but he had blonde hair and has a great sense of humor!

So gooooooodddddd!! They for sure without a doubt get a 5 star rating! That brisket is delicious! The broth was good by itself! I would eat it without the hoisin sauce just so I could enjoy it fully! Price is very reasonable. So reasonable, they get a minimum 20% tip every time for making something so delicious! Loved it! Go mom! Go dad! Go kids!
