So me and my girlfriend made reservations this past Saturday for my birthday, heard about the place and wanted to give it a try. Atmosphere was fine, food was okay, but what transpired towards the end is completely unacceptable, my dad came in half way through my visit (without my knowledge) gave the hostess 300 to cover my birthday dinner as a suprise gesture and they said that was no problem and would let me know when they brought me my check, we’ll check came there was no mention of this and I paid With my debit card, as I was getting in my car they gave me a call and said were sorry we were supposed to put this 300 towards your meal, and said that they would cancel the charge on my card, that never happened and they have been giving me the run around for 2 days now, so a 291 dinner turned into 600, that is theft and will be taking legal action if need be, not only did they ruin a birthday surprise, but they stole the 300 dollars on top of it.

We brought our leadership team in recently for our holiday lunch and everyone RAVED about their meal. We all tried different things and everyone loved their selection! Highly recommend for a lunch date/outing!

My wife and I were fortunate enough to celebrate her birthday at Pivot last Friday night. Our experience was next level and the food was unbelievable! Amazing ambience, and amazing staff. Strongly suggest Pivot for your next night out!
We were excited to try Pivot since changing from Mahogany Steakhouse. The 4 of us loved the atmosphere. Was a little brighter and modern while still keeping it classy. Our waitress (Michelle) was very knowledgeable and friendly giving us the background and recommendations on food and drinks. We tried the beef tallow bread appetizer and felt it was underwhelming. The olive bread was great while the beef tallow candle was a bit blah. All of our drinks were fabulous (lychee martini, donkey kongs brew, chocolate espresso martini). The Cesar salad was very flavorful. The salmon lacked flavor, and the manhattan steak was just ok. The Brussels sprouts, asparagus, and chicken mousseleline were our favorite dishes. As was the seasonal apple crumble, vanilla bean crème brulee, and chocolate mousse cake! Overall excellent evening!

If you are looking for an upscale restaurant, this is NOT it. Don’t worry about the dress code cause people are there in sweats and jeans. The steaks are better at Texas Roadhouse. There is absolutely no way these are prime graded steaks. As a cattleman, I can assure you that these are choice at best. Theft by deception? I would eat at Texas Roadhouse over this restaurant 10 times over. It’s quieter in a Texas Roadhouse than this place. My wife’s medium rare prime ribeye was half inch shoe leather, reminded me of carne asada from the Mexican restaurant. My rare aged prime strip was tough and grisly. Our server was fantastic but the rest of the experience was absolutely garbage. Super over rated. Got our dessert to go and got home to open up the container and it was the wrong dessert. Super disappointed and if I was offered a comp I wouldn’t come to use it.

Pivot Prime is easily one of the most creative and memorable dining spots in Omaha. The vibe is fresh, energetic, and unapologetically inspired by hip hop culture — from the playlist to the plating. I loved how the menu pays homage to artists in such a clever way.
The chicken appetizer named after Rihanna was fire — perfectly crispy, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Every dish felt like it had its own rhythm and story.
You can tell the chef and team put serious thought into creating something different for Omaha’s food scene.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for an elevated yet fun dining experience that hits all the senses.

I would do 10 stars if I could!!! Been to PIVOT Prime a few times and finally taking a moment to share my feedback! Absolutely incredible! I took my oldest daughter her for daddy daughter date and then my mother and most recent had a chance to check out their lunch menu and HOLY COW!!! It’s incredible! We have 6 dishes and split them amongst our table and they all were incredible. Most recently me and a buddy had dinner and he got the fancy old fashion and this presentation was out of this world! Enjoy the video and keep up the amazing work Chef Joel, Jeremy, Brooke and TEAM!!!

Decided to give this restaurant a try since my wife and I loved the old Mahogany’s atmosphere and location. We were pleasantly surprised by how well the new interior turned out, modern yet cozy, something the new Mahogany lacks. The food was amazing, and the staff and service were outstanding. Highly recommend, A+!

Anniversaries are special. Last week, my wife and I celebrated ours. It was a weekday, but we were thrilled to find a babysitter and enjoy a night out together. If you have kids, you know how rare and precious those evenings can be.
Omaha has no shortage of great restaurants, but we didn’t choose 801 Chophouse or Mahogany Prime—places at which we've never had anything but wonderful experiences. Instead, we went to what had been our newest favorite, Pivot Prime.
We’re lucky to have wonderful friends, and one of our dearest arranged for a gift basket—wine, cheese, and other thoughtful touches—to be waiting for us at the restaurant. Except, when we arrived, things didn’t go as planned. Pivot Prime seated us at the wrong table and gave our gift basket to someone else. I can’t tell you exactly what was in it, because we never saw it. It’s a separate question why anyone would keep a gift basket that isn’t theirs, but the real disappointment was how the restaurant handled it.
Knowing our friend, the basket wasn’t cheap. And being our anniversary, we spent nearly five hundred dollars on dinner—steak, a seafood tower, the works. Yet despite booking well in advance, we ended up with a table in the worst spot: out in the open, on the end, high-traffic, loud, and tough for conversation especially for me, I'm a bit hard of hearing.
What stung most was the indifference when we contacted them about the seating mix up and the resulting lost basket. When my friend called to ask about the basket, the response he got—according to him and this is a man who speaks the truth—was offhand. That matched our experience: the hostess was indifferent, the waitstaff seemed uninterested, and even the manager’s check-in felt obligatory. It bothered me that night, and it strangely bothered me more when I learned about the missing gift the next day.
I can’t help but think the experience at Mahogany Prime or 801 Chophouse would have been different.

In order to get 5 stars you would have to check all the boxes and it didn't quite do that, the marrow in the tallow candle didn't shine through at all, the oysters were high quality but very small, and most of all our prawns were WAY overcooked and not good, steaks and service were fantastic and people should definitely come here if they haven't been, this one just didn't go straight to the top of my list is all, i'll probably give it some time and try again.
