Ponzu Sushi and Grill

Spent a lot of money on not so good food and the service was not what we expected for a so called classy sushi place. It was supposed to be a nice birthday dinner for my 24-year-old son. We do love the Aksarben area though.

Surprisingly good sushi, fish portion larger than I've ever seen and good quality. Had to knock off a star for being on the pricey side, were it a little more reasonable I'd be visiting there multiple times a week! Definitely recommend though.

I went in for a snack during happy hour and they had some nice options or a very nice price. It is very conveniently located to some fun things to do. The sushi I had was very nice, I will definitely come back during happy hour to get more.

The blandest-tasting sashimi I have ever eaten. They need to have an expert sushi chef give them suggestions. Outrageously high price on the chef's platter. Slow service (but she seemed new).

Very impressed by the food and service here. Wanted something different than Blue so tried this one out. Had a lot of different rolls to choose from and were all fantastic. Service was great and affordable.

The best muscles in town! Served In a coconut curry sauce, this dish has just the right amount of heat without being overpowering on the curry flavor. Be sure to ask for extra bread to soak up all of that deliciousness.

Great food, great service, in a clean, friendly environment.

Parking: There are several free parking garages within 3 blocks of the Aksarben location.

Wheelchair accessibility: Level entrance and interior. Wheelchair accessible restrooms.
Limited close handicap parking for those using walkers. If using a wheelchair or mobility scooter, I would recommend one of the parking garages.

The sushi is amazing. The service is hit or miss for me. No matter the busyness, there never seems to be any staff. I waited 15 minutes to even get the opportunity to ask for a check.

Parking: There are two free parking garages in the area as well as street parking throughout Aksarben.
