I truly enjoy everything about Porky Butts from the food down to the service! Their Boudin Balls are to die for and the cheddar Jalenpeno Sausages are an ultimate favorite. The most important thing is the affordability of their meals. I can feed my family of 6 a great meal on a budget!

So I’ve been hearing lots of good things about this joint, so I thought I would pig out after work and see what the hurrah is all about. And man let me tell you, they are really good. I was walk in order, I got a chicken quarter & jalapeño cheddar sausage. My two sides were mac n cheese & mashed potatoes with sausage gravy. I waited about 15 minutes, food was hot when received and was hot when I arrived home! AND I TORE IT UP! Will be back 🔥

The Family Platter is a great way to enjoy the variety of food at Porky Butts BBQ. It consists of a Half Rack of Ribs, choice of 2 meats, choice of 2 sides, cornbread, and some fixings. We chose Burnt Ends and Brisquet for meat with Green Beans and Chili for sides. Loved, loved all the meats! Tender and tasty! Rib meat was ready to fall off the bone! I was a bit disappointed with the Chili; however, that was likely because I made a homemade batch last week and added all the right spices. Porky Butts' chili lacked some flavor in comparison. Meanwhile, the cornbread was great. We tried the Sassy and Mild sauces and liked both. I would prefer to give 4.5 stars if I could, with only the chili falling short of awesome.

I’ve never been there but after reading the article about them serving first responders yesterday on Thanksgiving this makes me want to come there and I will be there as an over the road driver.
