Staff was friendly and very helpful. Food was cooked to perfection and had a great taste. Every experience is wonderful.

We celebrated my wife's birthday at Railcar Modern American Kitchen, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and upscale without feeling pretentious, making it perfect for a special occasion. The food was thoughtfully prepared, well-executed, and flavorful across the board, and the service was attentive and professional without being intrusive. It was a memorable evening, and we will absolutely be back.

This was about the best tasting meal I have had in a very long time and the service was outstanding ! I went ahead and made reservations for a group that same day. We were there for Saturday lunch and got in on the brunch menu so got to order these marvelous caramel pecan donut holes that were simply scrumptious. My Crispy Chicken sandwich was outstanding last well and had the best flavor ever...Fries were fresh and tasty....Our server was friendly and fun as well as helpful...Truly one of the very best restaurant experiences I had had.

My wife and I recently tried Railcar again a few months ago and were blown away by the food and service. We have been going back regularly since then and the food and service has been excellent every time. They have what we think is the best traditional french onion soup in town. Their entrees have been perfect lately as well, highly recommend giving this west O gem another shot if you haven't in a few years.

I think we might've just hit this place on a bad night. There was a large party in their party room and our food took quite a while. When it arrived, it was a mix of hot and cold from fresh to held. We did have a chicken dish that was so salty that it was in edible. Service was good by our server, but they could not control the speed with which the food came out of the kitchen. Probably try again at some point. 

It's a nice venue, however the portions were very small & not worth the price! The salmon was maybe 5-6 bites, flavorful but scant. There are many other restaurants in Omaha that offer a better value. We won't return

It was busy but we had reservations. Waited about 15 min for our table. Food and service was all great!

We are never disappointed in Railcar. It will always be one of our most favorite restaurants. The food is outstanding & the service is excellent! We will continue to come back time and time again and could not recommend it more.

Service was great from being seated to collecting our check. Attentive service and good value.

The food and service was excellent. The reason for any lower rating was because of a very loud table next to us of 8-10. Our table of 4 could not carry on a conversation without yelling and it was just poor ambiance. We had an out of town guest with us and they indicated they would not come back here on their next visit. Too bad this one party table took away from what we thought would have been a pleasant supper.

I found this amazing restaurant by searching nearby restaurants. My mom and I had really great service, the food was amazing (prime rib dinner), and the carrot cake was the best I've ever had. I would definitely recommend it and we'll be back to try the chicken schnitzel!

Railcar is always a great place to dine. I had the prime rib and of course it was tender and amazing as it always is!!
