Best bakery hands down. Each time I am in Omaha, I get two boxes of goodies to bring back to Oklahoma. Everything is amazing. A definite stop when in Omaha.
This place is AMAZING! Over the past year I've tried everything they've had to offer. All of it is delicious! My favorites (nearly impossible to choose just one thing!) are the kouign-amann, canelles, and the raspberry and pistachio baskets.
The pastries are sweet enough but not sickeningly over sweet. The flour used is French and not loaded with additives and you can actually taste the difference. And, the not-so sour sour dough is just that. They offer specialty loaves on Friday and Saturday. The provossata is my favorite specialty loaf!
The owners are amazing, kind heartedness, friendly, and generous Christians and the kind heartedness and friendly attitude is reflected in the staff they employ.
Come in and try something, anything. You will not be disappointed!
Best baked goods hands down. uses French flour and french butter. Doesn't trigger my gluten issues. I buy this as a treat for all my guests and co workers. I dream of the crossiants.
Really enjoy the ham and swiss pastries along with the pan au chocolate. Always fresh and delicious.
i’ve come here a few times, and every visit is graduated with a smile, and the workers are super kind. They have delicious, pastries, and bakery items. The croissants are very cheap, and I use them to make food at home with. Their chocolate croissants and cherry pastry are delicious! 10/10 every time
10/10 the perfect local bakery with delicious treats!!

Lovely bakery and pastry shop! A wonderful family locally owned business. The Kouign-amanns ( pronounced Queen uh-mom) are to die for. They do little special pastries or twists on classics with weekly specials on breads Fridays and Saturdays. Fresh and amazing. What more could you ask for!

It is a good thing Reis' bakery is not in my neighborhood or I would be many pounds heavier! I have never had a bad baked good at Reis', but my favorite is the Kouign-Amann.

The croissants were amazing in all flavors but especially the chocolate and the ale bread is so good for warm dips!

Love their pastry's and love that they share their Christian faith with pride by displaying bible verses within their business.

There are plenty of French bakeries in Omaha, but Reis' stands out with its amazing taste and selection. I had a baguette, plain croissant, liège waffles and kouign-amann.
The baguette had a crunchy exterior, a spongy, soft inside, with a yummy almost sea salty taste. The plain croissant is anything but plain. This bakery uses flour and butter imported from France, and you can tell the difference. These are the best croissants I have ever had in my life. So, airy, flaky, and buttery. I am still thinking about them. The kouign-amann was a croissant shaped like a flower with caramelized sugar--delicious. The last thing I ate, and yes, I ate them all, was the liège waffle. The waffle was dense and not overly sweet, but then you come across one of the many pearl sugars in this waffle--oh la lah, so delicious.
Prices are extremely reasonable. Staff was kind and helpful.

Came to Omaha from Lincoln for a concert and stopped at this lovely bakery I had scoped out before we left for home. Great decision! The cruffins are so tender tasty and addictive- a must try! Bought a variety of other yummy pastries including their waffles. Just go! The people are lovely and the pastries are memorable. See you next time we’re in town.

If you are looking for an amazing French bakery, this is the place. It’s a cute little shop with croissant, bread, and deserts. Every was amazing. Check it out. Prices were great and super friendly staff. The only pictures were things half eaten because my kiddos loved them so much.
