Horrible service. HAIR WAS IN MY FOOD AND THE SERVER WAS VERY RUDE ABOUT IT!! Said that it was my hair in the food. The cooks do not wear hair nets or beard guards.

There was hair in our food and none of the cooks have on hats or bread guards in the back (both had VERY long beards) Our sever was SO rude and said “we still have to charge you for 6 wings because you ate half of the wings” all while only had eaten 4 boneless wings.

Had not been to Rookies before, seemed to be doing okay. Dropped in to check it out. Like others had commented, bar looks older, but that is okay. Has a full bar tables and dart boards.

Had a couple drinks and an order of onion rings, they are hand made with a tempora style batter, served with chipotle ranch.
Took an order to go, wings, club sandwich, and taco basket with chips and cheese.
Wings were good. Club sandwich wasn't your traditional club, but still enjoyed. Taco basket had two tacos, kind of small and oddly didn't have cheese. They still taste pretty good. All in all, I would go back, a lot of competition in that area though.

I was in town for work for 3 weeks and stumbling into rookies after reading reviews one night was the best part of the whole trip! Every single person that worked or even walked into rookies was not only kind, but treated us like we were locals in the way everyone learned and remembered our names and it felt like a home bar that I’ve been going to for years. 10 out of 10. The food was phenomenal (get the fries), the setting was perfect, and once again just all around great people that we met here!

Came on a whim while I was staying in Omaha. This is definitely a neighborhood bar, but that’s what makes it unique. Neil who is the owner, Will the bartender, and all the patrons were super friendly. Even to an outsider.
First thing Neil did when I walked up to the bar was introduce himself because he didn’t know/recognize me.
Food was delicious. Got onion rings as my app and a mushroom Swiss burger with sweet potato fries. Everything was phenomenal.
Bar is very clean, and they have plenty of pool
Tables and dart boards if that’s you’re thing.
Will be back my next time in Omaha.
Went for the first time due to a nice review I saw on Neighbor app. Greeted when walked in and my server just so happen to be Ms Cheryl, one of the owners?I told her how I found the place and I was introduced to her husband who gave us a little history and his start in the business. Nice people and atmosphere. He said his goal was to have his grandma to young children feel safe in his bar. Me and my sis overdid it and I paid for it later but I would return. Thanks guys!
