The Friday night Dj was super pretentious. He had no desire to play music for the crowd he was attracting. There's no issue with playing a variety of music but what's the attitude for simply asking a question? We asked "can you possibly play the faster version of this song" and he said "What makes you think anybody wants to hear that" there was literally not one single person on the dance floor. If he would've just said no or that's not going to happen, we would've let it go. Before we even got a chance to respond to the initial question he just lead with anger. I can't find a single reason for him to puff out his chest and get aggressive with 2 women. We were open to being rejected but not being faced with full on aggression. Maybe being a dj is not the job for him.

I love this place! We have been here a few times and we've had a great experience every time (the fried pickles are GREAT).
We had our after-party for our wedding here. I called 2 days before the wedding (I dropped the ball on this), and let them know we would have about 50 people coming in at 11:15PM on Saturday for our wedding after-party. While they seemed stressed on the phone, they said they will get us taken care of.
When we got there, they had the couches and some high tops roped off for us - honestly at first I didn't think it was for us since they typically charge for something like that. It was such a sweet gesture!! They also gave me and my husband's first drink for free since we were the newlyweds :)
The drinks were good and the music was fun. I love their dance floor and the decor! The music was loud, but that's to be expected with the dance floor. It was a really great vibe and would highly recommend! We met the owner at the end of the night and he was really nice. Thank you for having us and making our night even more special!

The nachos are huge and tasty drinks are good. Only thing is it's an Internet dead spot which is ok if your trying to relax and not be interrupted by a cell phone, adding to this not many places serve food and are open late.

Awesome food at a great price. Made it in here on a Saturday night when we are staying at the Hilton down the street. We had a bunch of appetizers. The chicken strips are amazing and the nachos was huge. Great staff, fast and friendly service.

The food was terrific, and the customer service was excellent. I was so impressed with the retro theme. They are open service for food late. Our bartender was great. I will be back.
Im not sure who determines the cover to get in. Me and my friends tried to go on Friday night 5-17-24 but they told us they were charging $40 cover. $40 for a bar/club in Omaha is absurd. I have been there multiple times before and it has never been $40. I feel like they charge the change in cover to steer a crowd away. My friends and I will never be going back because each weekend this cover is getting absurd and is never the same amount. The food is great but to be steering a crowd away to be charging a ridiculous cover is not the way to keep customers.

Exciting unique place downtown Omaha!Welcomed right as I walked in, service was great and quick. That being said it was very slow, however that didn’t take away from the great experience I had. Food was pretty good and reasonably priced. One issue I came across is that the location is not the best for all cell service, so having a WiFi the public can use or log into would be ideal. That was the main reason I left early as I could not connect with anyone. Overall this was my 2nd visit to Roxxy and there will definitely be more to come!

The atmosphere in Roxxy is amazing, especially the hanging guitar arrangement over the bar. The service was great and so were the drinks. I could have hung out in their all night and will definitely be coming back every time I am in Omaha.
