I'm from Arizona and I had never heard of runza before. I'm a foodie and I always like trying new things and I was searching for places to eat near the airport before going into town and this is one of the first things that popped up on Google. When I walked in, they were not busy at all and I ordered the mushroom and Swiss runza. The runza was really good. The breading was not thick and there was a lot of mushrooms, meat and cheese inside.

This Runza is on track. Staff is friendly and polite. The restraint is clean and the employees are focused on providing good service and not messing around. There is an older man that I see there in the evenings, I am not sure if he is a manager or not, but he is great. If everyone had his work ethic all places would be more enjoyable to visit. He is why we keep coming back. He must be teaching the younger generation a thing or 2 because all the employees I have had interactions with were on target with service.

Double Hamburger is one of the best in the Midwest! When the Crinkle Cut Fries are fresh and seasoned, they are tasty. Try a Regular Runza. You will like it.
They have Pepsi Products. Onion Rings are not very flavorful.

UPDATE: OCTOBER 2025...my son and his girlfriend took me there for lunch and it was amazing, shame on me for forgetting to update this like i told the staff i would...it was remodeled and clean and the staff was awesome as was the food!!
Didn't even finish half my burger, just not what it used to be, won't b back to this one
I usually love runza. I made a super easy order. I wanted burgers with no cheese. I ordered at 941pm I get home check my food its cheese on both burgers and cheese on chili. I tried calling. There phone is busy amd they are about to close. I dont understand whats happening to them in the recent years

Oh my gosh, this is the first time I’ve ever had German fast food, and it was absolutely delicious! But, to be honest, it was my husband’s food, and I just had a tiny taste of the onion ring and french fries. The sandwich was good too!
