My wife wanted chocolate Santa Clause's to send out to family members as it has been a tradition for her since she was young. We looked up the hours for this store and arrived last night at 5:40 as we pulled up to the front of the building and turned off the car the shop's lights went out. My wife checked the hours on the door and shows open until 6pm. My wife called the store from the car and a female answered who was annoyed that she had to answer and my wife stated looks like the store is closed the individual said "yep sure is". My wife then mentions that it states open until 6pm the response was " that is correct you are right but we are closed and don't you know we are closing the doors for good in January"? The person on the phone was one of the rudest smartasses I have encountered in a long time. If this is the type of behavior and service Russell Stover's promotes I can understand why the doors would close. I guess Russell Stover's would rather sell product out of Menards.
The worker told me the store is going to close forever in January. Heartbroken.
Very disappointing! No vanilla ice cream on a Sunday!??! No hot fudge? No chocolate sauce?? The employee was annoyed that we interrupted her phone time and when I ordered a chocolate sundae with chocolate topping she scooped the ice cream and set it in front of me with no toppings or no spoon. I asked for the chocolate sauce and she said she cannot give me a topping unless I order a sundae. I told her that I want a sundae then which she then went over to get a topping just to come back and tell me they don’t have any chocolate toppings. This is late afternoon, wouldn’t she have known this by now? Maybe not, I suppose playing on her phone was more interesting then doing her job. Heck, she could have run to Big Lots and got some toppings to get through the day! I would have been okay with that! Pretty pricey, $7 for a caramel apple? Look, I understand there’s a shortage of service people and I have worked in the service industry for years so I know how it can be tough, but this place is not that busy. She could have put the phone down and spent an hour doing her job of prep work, but with I’m guessing from her mannerisms that she pretty much hates her job or maybe she hates people, who knows??
Great deals and fresh chocolate
Nice place. Higher end chocolates. Be prepared to spend some money if you go here. Great selection.
Nice selection of sweets
I had been coming here for awhile to get my dad his sugar free fudge he loves so much but now when I went in I asked the lady if there was any and she told me she had never had it and point to a wall that had baged sugar free candy she had poor customer service and was not helpful she came off rude when she said like I was an inconvenience to her won't be returning
Terrible service, they did not have the huge heart shaped box they normally sell at Valentine's. Associate said to make up for it, they had a $70 dollar 5 lb sampler box on sale for $39. 99. So I picked that box up for purchase, was told by associate it was still $ 70 some dollars because that particular box I picked up wasn't the expired box, as only expired ones were discounted. I walked out, never again to walk in that store, or buy any of Russell's brands again.
Very nice fast service
Recently visited this store the selection of chocolate and candy is amazing and very good but the 2 employees that were there were terrible! When I first came in I got stared at by both of them and they made me extrmemely uncomfortable and then they refused to help a couple with items from there fudge section hopefully those 2 women get fired an absolute disappointment

Super lame. Update your hours so people know you close at 5:30 now.
love there candy !!
I always test a new ice cream parlor by ordering a hot fudge sundae. First, the store has a large selection of chocolates for sale and the prices looked reasonable. The staff was friendly and prompt. A good variety of ice creams to choose from. The sundae, however, was a flop. It comes layered in a cup. The bottom layer was so-so. The fudge had an off-taste to it. The vanilla was OK, but equivalent to what I might find in a grocery store. the middle layer of fudge was plastic in texture -- definitely overcooked and like the last was scrapped from the pan. Another layer of vanilla and then covered in chocolate syrup. It was just not enjoyable. It is a good thing they sell other things.
The boxed chocolate is that boxed. The display case chocolate is great. Really i go here for the diabetic inducing hot fudge sundays. They are fantastic.
Great curbside service during Corona Virus. Thank you for helping the Easter Bunny come through.
