We enjoyed it immensely! Some of the dishes we felt were not well balanced. However, the lime spoom desert made up for the imbalance of some of the food. The server needs to build more confidence in herself. We were asked too many times to order and too many times for the check. Still, she still did a good job as a student. We have confidence she has the ability to improve.
Positive, good experience. The students do everything....the menu development, cooking, serving, etc. We had a six-course meal with a wine pairing on two courses. Excellent food....hats off to the chefs. Our server seemed shy....which did not get in the way of good service. The entire student team was friendly, supported each other, and took care of the guests. Not only was the food delicious, it was visibly appealing. Great experience....I want to go back!
The food and experience was exactly what I would expect from such an amazing program. While we've been to Sage for dinner, this was our first chance to make lunch service. The small plate, tapas-style service was delicious. Every bite was a little piece of the country it represented and was a treat for lunch. We took our sweet treat to go because we were so full! Looking forward to the next lunch date there!
Tessa was an amazing server. I feel this experience was amazing and than the chef Amanda for the wonderful menu
We went on a stormy night to support my daughter who being a 'soon to be graduating student' was in charge of the menu and kitchen that night. We arrived and they seated us right away. Not long after being seated, the weather service called a severe storm warning, so they asked everyone to come to the safe room which was the classroom kitchen where they were holding a baking class for the students. It was interesting to me because my daughter has been a student there for a couple years and that is the first time I got to see the kitchen. Once the storm warning had expired, we went back to our table and enjoyed course after course of wonderful food. This is high end dining, so I didn't expect to be filled up. I even joked that we might have to stop by a drive thru on the way home. The food was as filling as it was good though, and I was satisfied when finished that we did not have to spoil the good taste in our mouths with drive thru food. The bison and salmon were both very good. One of the three desserts had a little thicker crust than it needed, but all desserts were very tasty without killing my blood sugar (I am diabetic). The room is nice and elegant with both tables and booths. There is even a table high fireplace at one end of the room and windows on two sides of the dining room.
I love supporting the students. You can tell the instructors work hard to provide the best environment possible for them to learn.
My server at Sage Bistro in The Institute Of Culinary Arts on the Metropolitan Community College campus, where we had lunch on Thursday, April 3, 2025, will be an asset to any restaurant that has him as an employee! Bravo - Excellent - Awesome!!!
Amazing flavor on the bo kho, delicious burger, yummy cheese frenchee special. Abigail was lovely! Thank you for a great experience
I think most people would be happy with anything that is offered on the menu. I can appreciate the care going on in the kitchen.
What a terrific way to have a quiet and intimate up-scale dinner for a reasonable price. The students are rock stars before their time with menu creation and execution of the courses and wine pairings. Great service, also students. Chefs have to learn how to be front of house too as well as back of house. No details large or small are overlooked, either. Fabulous experience and the kind that is paved as such with 6 courses that conversation can be had and courses enjoyed instead of rushed through.

This was our first visit. We really enjoyed it. The food was delicious and the servers were very professional and polite. We'll be returning.
Absolutely delicious menu!!! The chef that night had a splendid Italian treat...her menu was carefully crafted and wowed the taste buds...
I loved the variety of ethnic foods. Our waitress, Lily was fun and provided great service. Great value and unique dishes that were new to me. I absolutely must come to the evening meal. Thank you, Sage Bistro! Joanna & Larry Lindberg
I took my family to the Sage Bistro to celebrate the holidays. Everyone's food was fantastic! We all loved the experience as well as trying gourmet food we might not find at other area restraurants. I highly recommend Sage Bistro!
The three of us arrived and were seated. 5 minutes later two other large groups were seated. We had yet to be offered water. The two other groups were greeted and served water before we were. Service was slow throughout dinner. The others were also served their food before us. The food was unremarkable, (the trout and two beef entrees). It was not the dining experience worthy of a $300.00 tab. We've had one very enjoyable experience there and one enjoyable experience. It was their first opening night and they are an educational institution but you can't charge for a fine dining experience and not give one.
