My husband and I went to Sage for our anniversary and we were so impressed. The students worked so hard to create beautiful and delicious dishes. Not only did we enjoy our meals and experience, but also we loved being able to provide the students feedback over the food and service via a written "grading" card. What a valuable learning experience! While there was a bit of a delay with some our courses, we understood that this is a learning lab and it is important to be patient and give grace. We highly recommend Sage to everyone. :)

What a lovely place. My beloved boss recommended the restaurant, and I thank him for letting me know about it. The only downside is it is not well advertised, and people like me had no way of finding it out if not for luck!
Nevertheless, we were lucky enough to visit on the last day of when Chef Roy Choi's menu is served, cooked by talented MCC students. As one of very few Koreans in Nebraska, it has been a challenge to find authentic Korean food. It was amazing to experience semi-fine dining experience where the Korean cuisine was the theme. Every dish meant so much to me. When I saw boong-uh bbang for our desert, I teared up, as I felt like Nebraska people care about my roots and they enjoy it like I do. It was amazing and almost surreal experience, as I thought Boong-uh bbang is the last thing I would find in a Nebraska restaurant. Furthermore, our student server, Jon was so kind and attentive, and he made our visit more memorable.
Overall, the food was good, and the price was fair ($60/person). I liked that there are about 20 chefs' menu to try over time, and we can try a new menu every two weeks. I appreciate MCM faculties and students embracing diversity and made my me feel welcomed. I wish students in the program all the luck in their future endeavor. I had such an unexpected, wonderful evening. Thank you.

Really enjoyable evening. This is a student run dining experience. We had great service from the check in desk to our server to the students in the kitchen making terrific food. We got all showcased menu items and they did not disappoint. Thank you for a great evening.
Every meal is a new and incredible experience at Sage Student Bistro. The service is impeccable, and the food outstanding! We try to go once per class session and be amazed by the creativity of the student chefs.
These are student chefs that prepare themed meals based on well known chefs. Ours was Chef Roi Choi famous for Netflix shows with Jon Favreau. The fusion Mexican/Korean food the students prepared was all excellent. Consider it a high fine dining experience.
Great place to get a very tasty, professionally prepared meal for less. You feel like staff and students desire to please and do their best. Love the candles and flowers, a nice formal but warm atmosphere.
I wish I didn’t wait so long before visiting. I’m grateful that a friend shared this gem. We’ll be back!
The app didn’t get a picture - Beef Ribeye Cap “Barbacoa”, was well seasoned, perfectly cooked, and melted in your mouth.
The main - Asada Eye of Ribeye, while overcooked for my liking was still very flavorful, and still juicy. I surprising didn’t mind that it was med-med well.
interlude - I could have had a lot more of that!
Dessert - Crepes con Cajerta, Dark Chocolate Tres Leches, and Manjar Blanco which stole the show for me. The crepes were incredible, but the lavender coconut crème was devine.
As for connections - the shortbread was the winner for me.
These students do a better job than plenty of other restaurants here in town. Hats off to all who are involved in this program. Give this place a visit. It’s well worth it!

Surprisingly delightful. I wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised at the level of excellent. They are really shooting for 4-5 star experience. It's also great seeing students striving for excellence.
What I was most impressed with was the skill and work that went into each course. Every course was well though out and added to the experience. The pace is nice - it's great for a date because you know you are going to be there for an hour and a half+. A good experience and we will visit again.

The food was great. You just have to remember that you have students cooking for you learning as they go. Remember positive criticism so they can grow and become better chefs. One of my family's favorite places to go.

Our group of 4 enjoyed our lunches very much. Each dish was unique and refreshing. Our waitress was excellent when providing information about each menu item and the details of receiving the meals as they were prepared. We will definitely be back to enjoy lunch or dinner soon. Thank you!
First time night brought us to the student bistro tonight. It is a fine dining experience aimed at teaching students the details of working in or operating a restaurant. Students take classes in the various branches of the business and then work in that branch while they take that class. We know this because the young people working with us were very happy to share details about their experiences. You will never dine anywhere where the people working are more excited about what they are doing. The food was delicious. Yes, there may be some details in a dish that need refining. No, those details do not detract from your dining experience.
Did not have a sever throughout the whole lunch. The dinner manger ended up stepping up and help us. Dinner was excellent and inexpensive. This was a special occasion for us and wish that the service was better.
Classy restaurant, servers are engaging and polite, all the food looks interesting and fun combinations. What we ate was delicious, not your ordinary food choices for lunch so makes the outing an adventure!
We were placed in the wine room since we had a large number of people (9). It was perfect for us. The food and service were both outstanding! The level of attention we received exceeded expectations.
