The service was excellent. The food was fantastic. It was a 2 1⁄2 hour dining experience. I took my mother for her 81st birthday. We had a blast. I'm definitely going back again and would recommend this to all my friends.

Julia Bennett, my server, was very attentive, very knowledgeable, kind, was very knowledgeable, and recommended food that I truly enjoyed. In my opinion, you need to have more people like Julia Bennett!

Elegant but not intimidating. Servers were warm, efficient and knowledgeable. The whole experience was enjoyable, a fantastic date night! Food was very high quality and so many tastes, textures and creatively plated.

This was my first time trying Sage and I was absolutely blown away by the 9-course meal!! The service was excellent and personable, yet still the stand-offish vibe you would expect at a fine dining establishment. Daniel our server did an excellent job, as did the other staff we interacted with. Each course tasted great, but our tables' favorites were the bread with a green-colored butter spread. scallop, king mushrooms, and lemon truffle desserts. If I came back during this menu I would order more of these a la cart! But if I come another time I will absolutely go for another 9 courses as this was an amazing experience to try so many new and delicious food pairings. I love the fact that your tips go toward the students' dining/learning experiences. Also love that the chefs names are featured in their menu! Such a unique and heart warming dinner. We arrived a little after 7:30 and left just before 10. We weren't waiting very long on any of the food, but a 9-course dinner takes time! 100% worth the cost. I will keep this place in mind for any future special occasions!

I recently had lunch here at Sage lunch had a truly delightful experience. The menu offered a variety of interesting and unique dishes that caught my attention. The food surpassed my expectations, not only in taste but also in presentation. Each dish was thoughtfully crafted and beautifully arranged, showcasing the culinary skills the students are learning. The service was exceptional, with a professional and attentive staff that made the dining experience even more enjoyable. From the moment I entered, I felt well taken care of. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu, providing helpful recommendations and ensuring that every detail was attended to.What stood out most was the seamless combination of interesting flavors and impeccable service. It’s evident that the restaurant prioritizes quality in both food and customer experience. Overall, a fantastic place for anyone looking to indulge in a culinary school adventure with top-notch service.

The whole experience was great. The only issues was both servers spilled some water while filling the glasses, other than that it was flawless delivery of all courses. Very good selections and helped expand my palate.

It was the first day for the students at Sage, our waitress was so amazing, she kept the waters filled and the coffee coming, the food was delivered and explained. It was a great experience for the two guests who had never been to Sage.

Food was outstanding, service was friendly but bumpy. Small plate menu at lunch, so plates are delivered as they are finished in the kitchen, not necessarily in the traditional order. One of our entrees was completely omitted until we had finished dessert. The server was made aware of this when the bill was presented and apologies for back of house confusion were offered but there was no adjustment made to our bill. Learning curve at work. TLDR: Delicious food, front and back of house performance are works in progress.

The food is amazing and each course exceeded expectations. Service was a little slow but didn't affect the overall experience. The wine pairings complemented the food and definitely worth the extra cost.

Sage Student Bistro accommodated our large group of 12 with calm and ease! If you have not tried this student bistro on the Metro Community College Fort Omaha Campus, now is the time. Reservations are suggested, although they appear to accommodate dropins if space allows. Lunch and dinner are served but make sure you check the web site, as the open dates and hours follow the campus schedule. The windows and fireplace were welcoming on a cool and sunny fall day. Lunch menu items are broken into "smalls" (appetizers) "bowls" (soups and salads) "plates" (entrees) and "sweets" (desserts). Guests can order individual items or a combination of three--a small, a bowl and a sweet or a small a plate and a sweet, etc. I ordered the frites, pastrami burger and a mouth watering lemon layered delight. Our orders were taken promptly, our food arrived in waves, and our desserts were shared and devoured. The aoli sauce on the pastrami took it up a notch and one of my dining companions said that the frites were the best she has ever had and she is a discriminating diner. The dinner menu is different than lunch and I forgot to ask about the menu--sorry! However, if it is anything like our lunch experience you will not be disappointed. I will be back for dinner and provide an update. This students at the metro culinary program have bright futures and a new fan!

We used the ala carte menu for 5 ppl. There was way too much time between the charcuterie board and the next course. We were nit asked how we wanted our meat cooked. The beef burgundy nirmally is smaller pieces, the tenderloin was cooked sous vi, and arrived medium plus with no pink, medium rare would have been better. The duck breast was overcooked. The lamb was done fine. The pumpkin semifeddo was excellent.

This is an amazing opportunity for students and a real treat for diners. Our food was absolutely delicious and very creative. The menus they offer are so modern and yet pleasing to all palates. A great way to spend an unrushed evening experiencing talented chefs, bakers, hosts and servers.

We enjoyed the top notch server - James. He was personable and eager to share. We loved the food, it felt like a chef's table experience, the plating and tastiness are unmatched for the price. I am encouraging anyone I know to check it out. Thanks!

We chose the 9-course menu. We enjoyed everything on it except for the braised pork belly. The pork belly was very tough and the potatoes were so hard we couldn't even get our fork into them. The kimchi type preparation was not good. This was a very unpleasant course. Everything else was awesome! We especially loved the French onion soup which was unlike any French onion soup we ever had. The sirloin and sauces were amazing! The Interlude was delightful. We did feel that a number of the course took a bit too long to be served. It was not a busy night and we were there for almost three hours. I realize it's a long fine-dining experience but that got to be too long. Also, it was unbearably cold in the dining room.

I always enjoy going to Sage Bistro. However, on this occasion, I believe the service was not the best. We each ordered the four option luncheon and everything but the dessert came out at once. By the time I could get to the main course, it was cold. This menu in particular was very unique. However, I feel it would be wise to have one item that was semi-normal.
