The pupusas here are next level ? We got pastelitos, too *chefs kiss*It's chill inside, spacious booths and nice tables. Parking is off street. It's in a weird spot off 24th & Leavenworth but I've never had a problem finding a place to park

Everything was delicious!!! Each item had its own flavor! Service was great too! We tried a pork quesadilla, bean and pork pupusa, and flautas!

Stopped by here with some friends to try something new! With two vegetarians present, we were pleasantly surprised at the variety of options available! We both created our own pupusas, which is similar to a quesadilla, but is a stuffed corn tortilla (possibly fried). My other friend also ordered the enchiladas and we were surprised that it was a crispy fried base, similar to a tostada! As we did visit at the end of the day, our server was quite impatient and we needed to go find her as we needed silverware and refills. This definitely did not bring down the experience of this cute El Salvadoran joint, but next time we'd visit earlier to ensure quality service. Everyone enjoyed their food and would return.

I absolutely love this place. It's comfortable inside, staff is nice, there's a large variety of delicious food and it's reasonably priced. My favorite thing are the pupusas. They come with sauce and curtido (delicious cabbage salad) on the side. The mushroom ones are amazing. Other favorites are jalapeño (I don't think that's on the menu so just ask) and the garlic, but my husband doesn't like when I get that one. I often get several of them for takeout, with the idea being that I will put them in a freezer bag, with parchment paper between them, and keep in the freezer. I am not usually able to do that because instead I end up eating them for every meal until they are gone!

Our daughter spent some time in Central America and recommended Salmex. The food is divine! Service is quick and friendly, and the place is spotless! Do yourself a favor and get some pupusas.Vegetarian options: We are carnivores with a vegetarian daughter. There was plenty on the menu for her to choose from.

Genuinely enjoy the food, it's not in the best area but the foods good enough to overtake that complaint. The street tacos are amazing, and all the breakfast foods are even better. They serve breakfast all day as well, which is a plus.

Food was good but service was horrible. Older lady right there that’s the cashier was rude didn’t wanna give us any green sauce said there was some in the bag mind you we bought a lot of food, also asked for the receipt and she went and put it in her pile without giving me anything and ignore that I had clicked that I wanted a receipt. Told her that I wanted to get a couple more pupusas to take to go and she got mad. Our drink was full of ice couldn’t even put the straw threw told her I wanted one without ice and she said “with no ice then I’ll fill it halfway up and gave me the drink halfway full. Loud and rude, been to this place for a while and every time we get her as a server/cashier she always loud and rude.

Went to salmex to get tacos. Ordered four and they gave me two. Went to get the other two and they said they made four while looking st the Two in the box they gave me.
