Terrible hostess/greeting staff. Inaccurate hours when you go inside they say they are closed for dinner “kitchen” at 8:00pm but dinner hours are only 5-9pm. I have been a regular for 10 years+ when this place was a hole in the wall and it has gone down hill completely. Food portions have minimized tremendously. Food flavor and spice is never the same depending the cook. Wait for food and service also way too prolonged.

I would highly recommend NOT ordering from this location. Salween is actually very good if you get it from the location out in West Omaha, but this one was horrendously small. I got a chicken pad Thai, and maybe they didn’t prioritize it due to it being a mobile order, but I’m a smaller guy and without exaggeration I finished my meal in 8 normal bites. I was astonished how small it was. I’ve ordered from the West location multiple times and it’s always been enough to eat until I’m full + leftovers. I tried taking to Uber Eats and they completely disregarded my order. So anyway, if you’re looking for Thai food, Salween is good, but DO NOT ORDER from this location.

The food is very good. The server was great, everything was good. I like a little bit thicker broth, especially with coconut milk, but the flavor was outstanding, and they bring the perfect amount of heat. The rice was cooked perfectly, and the plate presentation is very good

Absolutely the best drunken noodles in town. Such flavorful wide noodles I can’t get enough of 🤌

This Thai spot in Omaha? Solid, but let’s keep it real. The hype is strong some call it the best in the U.S., and sure, the pad Thai had its moment. Flavor? Bold, no argument there. But ‘legendary’? I’ve had just as fiery, just as fragrant in a strip-mall joint back in L.A. The vibe? Cozy, if a little generic no grandma-energy magic for me. Service? Fine, nothing memorable. Worth the stop? Absolutely. Life-changing? Nah. But hey, if you’re in Omaha and craving Thai, it’ll do the job with flair.

4.5

The salad rolls were fresh and the shrimp not fishy at all

The grill beef salad was super tasty and PACKED with flavor albeit the beef was a tad over cooked

The drunken noodles were actually my least favorite. Small portions and too sweet, for me

We ended up eating here instead of Blue Sushi for Valentine's Day and I'm glad we did!! The food is excellent, spring rolls are delicious and they made the rice into a heart shape on the plate😍 so cute!

I just want to say Salween is amazing. They recently switched their ordering format to online only. We eat there all the time and love it. We recently ordered food online and accidentally order 4 of the wrong dishes but did not notice until we got it home. I called and they graciously said they would make the correct dishes at no charge and to come back. It was a great gesture and I wanted to let everyone know this is great restaurant. I will be putting this restaurant on the top of my list and eat there often.

I had a takeout order delivered to my hotel, but they didn’t provide any plastic utensils like a spoon or chopsticks. On top of that, the food was spilling everywhere!
