Love this place!!! The food is so good, the ULTIMATE comfort food. We bring so many of our friends here and they have all fallen in love as well. Definitely recommend to anyone in search of some savory comfort food.
The ordering app said 45 minutes but evidently it isn't correct. Many people waiting for their food. Food was handed directly to us but all appetizers were cold. Chick added to my noodle dish was dry and tough.. it was just too expensive for sub par food.
Food is always great!! We have had almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed.
The only thing I would change are the take out/left over containers. It breaks my heart they are still using environmently unfriendly foam.
Quality has just decreased over the last couple of years. It's okay :)
Best Thai Food in the STATE. Possibly MidWest.
The food is excellent, though I always get the same thing: pad thai. One of the few places where you can get really spicy food that actually has good flavor.
The interior is organized and clean. My only thought is that it is a bit too quiet; I can often hear other conversations clearly.
The worst service ever,
They just have two employees and you're gonna wait for a long time until you are serviced
Every time I have come to Salween Thai the food has been delicious and fresh while being reasonably priced. Everything I’ve tried on the menu is good, you can’t go wrong. Be adventurous.
My favorite dish has to be to Pad See Yew. It tastes amazing and the food here is always fresh. The potstickers and shrimp rolls taste amazing. 10/10
They could care less about people who take the time to visit their restaurant. Their business model is all about Door Dash and Uber Eats.

We ended up eating here instead of Blue Sushi for Valentine's Day and I'm glad we did!! The food is excellent, spring rolls are delicious and they made the rice into a heart shape on the plate😍 so cute!
It was incredibly cold with our winter coats on! They said they couldn’t figure it out. It was like the heater hasn’t been on at all
Chicken pad Thai and cashew chicken were awesome. Great flavor and good portions
Last night my bestie and I came in for dinner. We had a wonderful experience, the restaurant was shockingly empty for most of our experience. Their menu is largely Thai Based but they do offer some Vietnamese specialties as well such as Pho, Banh Mi and Vermicelli Bowls as well.
The food was magnificent and we definitely were warmed up by it on the chilly night last night. We had the Khao Soi, Grilled Beef Salad with some Rice Ball sausages. The Khao Soi ( Coconut Chicken Noodle Soup) I got at a spice level of 5. It has tender pieces of Chicken, wonderfully sour mustard greens to break up the richness of the crave worthy coconut broth and fresh red onions and crispy noodles on top and at the bottom of all this delicious is a wonderful nest of tender rice noodles.
The Grilled Beef Salad is a wonderful delight of sour, sweet and spicy while also being incredibly savoury with the tender pieces of Grilled Beef. We got this a spice level of 5 as well and thoroughly enjoyed it. The spice played nice with the toothsome rice powder sprinkled across the dish, and mingled well with the fresh cilantro, mint and also the red and green onion and seasoned with a spicy lime dressing. All of these things may sound out of place but upon tasting you’ll find your tongue is being played a perfect symphony of flavours that just continue to build the more you eat it.
The rice ball sausages were delicious but always perplex me in a way that always makes me want them again and again. Tender sausage combined with noodles and wrapped in a chewy rice paper with a slightly peppery bite to them from the seasonings, but in no way spicy. Try them and you’ll find yourself wondering where they all went.
Overall we can’t wait to come back for another delightful experience, but if it’s cold or you need your Thai fix. Salween is my favourite place to start at and I can’t wait to explore and experience the rest of the menu.
Only thing that was a little disappointing was the lack of protein (chicken) in my Pad Thai. On the other hand, flavor of the food was very good along with the service. I ordered take out they said it’d be ready in 15 min. I showed up 15 min. later and it was and ready for pick up, no waiting around. Paid for my meal and I was on my way. All said and done I would order again but I’d just ask for extra protein. Last but not least their prices were very reasonable with healthy sized portions.
