First off I really like the food, very good. BUT! They advertise they are open until 6, but they are always closed early. Been there at 5:30 and have been refused service and they say they are closed. They need to brush up on this in my opinion.

Saturday at 510pm. Dinner time. On 2.10.2024. I always stopped at Sarku Japan in Oakview mall. WAS a lifetime fan of Sarku until today. I wish i had taken a pic to show you how sparse the burnt chicken, non- existent my cabbage was, and the seriously one sliver of broccoli served. My wife asked what smelled burning when I got in the car. Little did I know. It was my dinner. Cutting costs will close you for good! ? Won't be back. #YUK.

One of the only places that serves mall teriyaki chicken right. You can get in get your food and get out quickly. Just wish it wasn't in the mall..Vegetarian options: Getting rice and vegetables with a great grilled/flat top taste.Wheelchair accessibility: Ease of getting into the food court, as well as finding a spot to eat is great. Lots of ramps.

This is one of my go-to mall chain restaurants. The food is ok, and you're guaranteed to get it hot and fresh because it's cooked on a grill right in front of you. From coast to coast, Sarku remains consistent. The teriyaki sauce could use more flavor. It seems to be a bit watered-down, but just ask for 2 scoops. Portion sizes have gotten smaller, and prices went up, but that's happening everywhere, so im not surprised. All in all, I give it an O.K. rating.
The double beef teriyaki with vegetables might be the absolute best fast food dish that has ever been created!!!

Chicken Teriyaki PlateRun...don't walk...okay, not if there is Ice on the ground, or scissors in your hand. But definitely hurry, like do that weird speed walk thing, if you have to. Who cares how goofy you look...you're about to eat something good. The sauce, chicken, rice, vegetables...and quantity you get. Best deal in town! They make a smaller bowl but don't bother...you'll want more! Then it'll be too late. You'll have bowl regret. The cooks are loud/proud, super nice, and love throwing on extra sauce on request. I've never left hungry or feeling like they "missed."#SupportOakview #SarkuOrWeRiot

Google and their website say they're open until 7. Walked in a little after 6:30 and they told me they were closed.
It's usually Fantastic. Something you just gotta have. This time however, there was no extra chicken and no sauce on the very stingy portion of vegetables, it didn't even fil up the tray. My Dasher was so quick 5 stars to Brendan. I couldn't have drove and got it that fast. But it was Luke warmSo they must have ready made orders sitting. It sucked this time. With a decent tip I order delivered was 25$ Never Again.

I recently placed a pick-up order with this restaurant, and while they initially informed me that it would be ready in 15 minutes, I ended up waiting an additional 20 minutes when I arrived at the establishment. The extended wait time was a bit disappointing and inconveniencing, especially after being given a specific time frame. I appreciate promptness and accuracy when it comes to orders, and I hope the restaurant can work on minimizing such delays in the future to enhance the overall customer experience.

The service is very bad, you pay for extra chicken and it is worse for you, and the attitude of the workers is very bad.

This is my go-to place when visiting any mall in any city. They are pretty standard across the country. Food is cooked to order, so it's usually fresh. Too bad they only have locations at the malls. I'd love to see one with a drive-through.
Favorite food!
