I have tried this place 4-5 times now. I love the concept but the service has consistently been slow and disorganized. Hoping they will do better in the future!

I've been thinking about & craving the mac & cheese all week! The fall spritz was like sipping the BEST parts of fall. I had a delicious salad with fresh grilled chicken that was great with the mac & cheese our table shared .Exemplary service, great decor. I can't wait to go back!

When I got there during set 1 for volleyball and saw how crowded it was, I was ready to be turned away. I got excited when told they were doing community tables and could still seat just me.
However became quickly disappointed as the wait staff ignored my presence. Constantly asking the other couple at my table for refills on drink water and taking their order. I had to consistently stop for every step of the ordering process. My drink and food.
I’ve been sitting with an empty water glass (since that was my only drink for the entirety of set 2) since halfway through the 2nd set.
Been waiting for pay me bill so I can leave for 20 mins now so I can leave and never come back.

While the food was amazing and the drinks were flavorful, the service left much to be desired. We had extremely long wait times to place our order and receive our food, even though there were only about 8 customers, us included. So, while the food is good, we wouldn't return.

Loved having a section full of non alcoholic options to choose from. There is an elevator available in case you cannot take the stairs. All the tv’s had the biggest games on for women’s sports and there was a college football screen too. Bartender was fantastic! Super cute place with really clean bathrooms too.

We had a good time at SET The Bar. We went during Omaha restaurants week and Nebraska vs. Creighton volleyball. It was packed. We got seated on the patio. The service was as quick as it could be and we got our order in before they cut them off. Unfortunately the kitchen got backed up and the food we ended up taking our entrees and desserts to go because things took so long. The appetizers we had there were the spinach artichoke dip and the cauliflower wings. Both really good cauliflower wings had great breading and really good sauce wish there was more of it though would be my only suggestion. The spinach artichoke dip with bacon was lovely. I’m not a huge bacon in things person but this was a nice amount and gave the dip an added depth of flavor. Would order both again. I enjoyed my drink which was the knockout. My wife got a cider of sorts. My entree I rewarmed the next day in the air fryer was the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, still was juicy and got the crisp. Great flavor I will be back to try one fresh! My wife also really enjoyed her chimichurri steak Mac n cheese which she just microwaved at work the next night. The desserts were both solid as well. I preferred the banana cheesecake of the two. All in all a good experience just happened to go on a crazy busy night. They were very apologetic for the wait and issues which we appreciate and might’ve stayed if we didn’t have our little one with us who was ready for bed time. Great concept and great patio. Super cool inside and great food. Hopefully make it back soon!

My wife and I are former Omaha residents who were genuinely excited to finally try Set the Bar after hearing about its concept. We made an intentional stop while back in town for a wedding (9/27 around 2pm) because we believed in the mission and wanted to support it. Unfortunately, it let us down badly.
The identity of the place feels confused, half sports bar, half “ladies who brunch,” but not really excelling at either. The real problem, though, was the service. We sat outside just for drinks, but our server seemed completely uninterested in us. We easily could have ordered 2–3 more drinks, but she never bothered to check in, even though she came outside multiple times to serve other tables. Eventually, because we were running late, we had to walk away from our table and cash out at the host stand.
The host staff were friendly and apologetic, but it didn’t make up for the lack of attention from our server. We really wanted to love this place, but we won’t be back. It has so much potential, but until the service issues are fixed, it’s just not worth it.

I'm typically a dive bar kind of guy, but the energy in this place is immaculate, completely free of any negative bar stereotypes you can expect on a Friday night. great staff, amicable and efficient, and the food absolutely delicious, whether you've drank already or not. 5/5, would recommend and will be back

Went to the Set the Bar on Sunday afternoon. The staff is really great and the experience overall went very well. We ordered the buffalo wings and that’s where things took a turn. The skin on the wings were chewy and felt undercooked, as I was tearing into a wing the server was walking by and I expressed that I think the wing may not be fully cooked. She advised that the kitchen cooks everything to temperature which I mean they’re supposed to??? To fix the issue they brought me ONE additional slimy undercooked wing. The drinks were good but they have the worst wings I’ve ever had in my life and pretty crappy solutions.
