Ordered butter chicken (medium spice) and garlic naan thru door dash. Man the flavor of the sauce was superb. The garlic naan was huge for the price and was perfect for scooping up the food. Food came steaming hot and I love the esthetic of the bag and food container.I will definitely be ordering again

So far this has been the best lamb Vindaloo and Naan I have had. Odd that it is in Nebraska. I have had this dish in almost all 50 states now and this restaurant has been the best so far.

It is super dirty and smelly, with visible bugs in the corners and spiderwebs. The smell was so overpowering that it was difficult to breathe. This issue really needs to be addressed as it greatly impacts the overall experience."

Excellent Indian food! The masala is closer to a gravy and loaded with flavor. They spice the food well according to your preference. The drinks were alright but that's not why we went. The restaurant is clean and server was very friendly.
This used to be my absolutely, unrivaled favorite Indian restaurant and honestly my favorite restaurant in Omaha. The last five times I've been there, I've asked for my food to be a 10 on their own spice scale, and I get a skeptical look every time despite my assurance that I've had it that hot before and like it that way. Every time, it comes out so bland. Everyone else at my table tried my dish last night, all of them having ordered a 4 or lower on the spice scale, and they all said it was less spicy than theirs. I'm so tired of getting bland food when I specifically ask for a lot of spice, and it's been consistent for over a year. I just don't even want to bother anymore because I'm tired of not being taken seriously about my own order.

With that in mind just know this place is conveniently located near downtown and walking distance to the new park and sites. There is plenty of parking in front and the rear of the building. I suggest you give this place a try you won’t be disappointed!

I ordered Vegetable Biryani and it wasn't Biryani at all. It was like, they mixed some veg curry to the white rice and serve it as Biryani. It wasn't aromatic and doesn't taste like one. The quantity was less for the price, I paid.The rest room was nasty. When I walk basement to the restroom, it has strong urine smell and the men's room smelled the worst. They should work on their dishes and keep the restroom clean and tidy.
I've never enjoyed Indian cuisine until I tried Shahi. I'm forever converted. Their food is SO GOOD. Give this place a shot and you will not be disappointed!
Horrible service. Server seated us and didn’t come by for 15 minutes. And then when we finished eating we needed boxes and server walked by several times and took them another 15 minutes before we got a box and then waited another like 10 minutes for the check. Ridiculous! Food was decent but bro if you get from here get takeout because the service sucks horribly like how bad of a server can someone be?!? It’s not hard!!

Went here for the first time in Winter 2023 and it was delicious! Received take-out on a Monday evening in 15 minutes.Chicken tandoori and garlic naan were the best way to start my week. Butter sauce will have me coming back soon.Ambiance inside looked nice and had original decor.Online price showed Tandoori Chicken around $12 however my receipt was $14~. Can’t complain though with everyone else downtown raising prices.

This place is LEGIT. Ordered via DoorDash and even with the extra fees, the price was reasonable.The food was great! Saag panneer was awesome, naan was great! I could go on, but we didn't have anything but great dishes.Zero hesitation in ordering again. And their packaging and marketing was on point, super professional. You don't find a lot of independent restaurants firing on all cylinders, but this place has it going on. Great food, solid value, fast delivery and good marketing.

Wow, Shahi is probably the best Indian food in Omaha. I’ve only ever gotten delivery, but every time it’s been a 10/10. Absolutely delicious and the spice level is just right. I recommend the chicken tikka masala, saag paneer, and fried naan - definitely do the fried naan over any other type of naan, you will not be disappointed. I’ll never order Indian food from anywhere else.
