No big issues but lobster bisque was a bit salty.
Here is an honest review from my 9 year old. He ordered a thing of claims trips, just for himself and refused to share. He then did one of those seductive faces when he took a bite and said that he wished he lived there.
I had 12 oysters, and the cocktail sauce is what pushes them over the edge! Really good!
Food came and had a cup of clam chowder and another basket of clam strips (for me this time), it was happy hour. My 9 year old said he liked the can soup better, but I think it's just from the smoky flavor. It was a good cup of soup! But he then stole my class strips from me and again said, he wished he lived there.

Small dining area and can get quite packed. It was also very loud in there, so don't expect a nice quiet date night. The food makes up for this though and is right up there among the beat seafood in Omaha. We started with fried calamari and the Shucks-puppies. The calamari was nicely seasoned and cooked to perfection with a delicious sweet and spicy dipping sauce. The Shucks-puppies are there play on hush puppies made with grits and were just divine and came with a smoky dipping sauce. The fish and chips with Haddock are by far the best I've had in Omaha hands down. Snow crab legs were nicely steamed and full of meat. Also had a few Hurricanes from the bar that could've used just a tad bit more alcohol but were still satisfying. I definitely recommend going to any of the Shucks in town if you haven't already.
Parking: Ample parking around the restaurant.
Kid-friendliness: Nice kids menu.

First time at this restaurant with no expectations. We were greeted promptly and seated. Shortly after our waiter took our drink order and then our food order. Food was hot and delicious. I had the haddock and spouse had chicken wings. Price was fair. Will definitely return.

The food was delicious, the service was great, and the prices were reasonable considering the type of food!
Only complaint is that some of the chairs are definitely showing their age/abuse.
As for the food, the soft shell crab, gumbo, haddock, shrimp po-boy, and gumbo were all really good!
We'll definitely be back!

Love this place! When my wife and I go I usually always get there crispy Minnesota style walley, fries, with some hush puppies and the food is always stellar. My wife always gets the snow crab legs along with oysters and other items. Food is always amazing, service is great, and it’s a relaxed casual atmosphere that isn’t loud where you can enjoy your food and the people your with. Love dining here.
Parking: There is a side lot that is free and free spaces directly in front of the main entrance. Shucks might be the one place in the whole area that always has spots available.

Came here on a recommendation and was not really impressed. Locals seemed to like it but it was okay. 2.50 for That bread was a rip off. They messed up one order and one was eaten before the other showed up correctly. Offered no adjustments for their mistake.
Also no military or veterans discount! Guess they don't value those are serving or have served our country!

It's decent food and the oysters are good. Last time we were there the service was ok. The menu have changed much in a long time so it's not as exciting to keep going back.
