Last night was the third time I have visited smash city to order the chicken smash only to be told they are sold out. I am beginning to wonder if they ever even have chicken and if they did and sell out all the time why not plan for more! I was also told that they were out of black bean burgers and gluten free! So no options at all ! Very disappointed

Trust me hands down best burger in town. The fries are delicious. The customer service is amazing. The food hall is huge. very fast service. I had my burger in under a minute. ? Bunch of options also. Definitely coming back every day this month ?? The person who helped me was Tom Great Guy thanks man ! ? Try the truffle add jalapenos !

Well I finally decided to try The Inner Rail courtyard today for lunch, I ended up at Smash City? I was excited to try it out, everything went smoothly with the ordering process, as I sat at the counter waiting on our food ,the cook scratches his ear with his gloves on, I ask if he would change his gloves due to what I just witnessed. He states he's not cooking with that hand, excuse me lol Anyway the manager tells him just to take the gloves off He then tries to say he changed them as soon as he scratched his ear, lol no sir you didn't. Anyway he gets a attitude, while salting our fries I asked if I could get light salt, he says ok Then pours extra salt..lol this guy,Anyway the burger tasted okay but was extremely greasy!!! For the price of these so call (gourmet)burger combos This employee I encountered had a McDonald's attitude & I wasn't loving it ?,but seriously I will not return!

One of the best burgers in all of Omaha and it’s an absolute travesty It’s not mentioned within the top 5 within the city at a minimum. Service is fast. The atmosphere is awesome and can’t really get much better in Omaha. And as a red blooded American, who knows his way around a burger, I don’t have high praise for most burgers at restaurants. Smash is an rare exception, check this place out, it’s amazing.

My husband and I moved here from out of town nearly two years ago from our home towns... sadly leaving behind all of our favorite burger places. We have been to 3-4 dozen burger places around Omaha and they all seem to have this same problem with the exception of Smash City. While this is the beef state folks here do NOT know how to cook a burger. Here at Smash City they do it right. Just a little pink and lots of crispy edges with fantastic beef flavor. The fries are fantastic and fresh. Also their house made ranch is such a great complementing flavor to the salty fries and burger. However make sure you ask them to fill the entire container...we have gotten a few that are less than 1/2 full.
The folks who give it a bad review should go to many of the other over cooked places. This is our favorite spot and we happily drive the half hour to get to this place from our business or home.

Overall just not great. The fries were okay though you don't get many. The spicy burger was trying to be gourmet but then they put some nacho cheese sauce that tastes out of a can on it that kinda ruined the whole thing. Tasted like a cheap ballpark burger for $18.50.In addition the guy refused to scan the QR code or type in the number for my giftcard, insisting I use touchless pay. I kept telling him the gift card wouldn't transfer to my apple wallet. He insisted I do it, and it charged my credit card instead of the gift card. Which I didn't realize until I got home.Update to owner response:Yes this is definitely the right restaurant. Smash city inside the Inner Rail. If the sauce on the spicy burger wasn’t a cheese sauce, then I don’t know what it was. It was drowned in something that tasted and looked like canned nacho cheese sauce. My wife thought the same thing.In regards to the gift card, it was a general inner rail gift card with a QR code. All the other vendors we went to scanned the QR code from the gift card on my screen, except the clerk at smash. He insisted on Apple Pay which did not work.

I was excited to bring my non-dairy, pescatarian wife to the Inner Rail. She went with the build-your-own veggie burger with everything on it except the mayo. She did not order cheese but the burger came with it. She’s not allergic to dairy and hates wasting food, so she decided to proceed instead of asking them to remake it. But things were not any better. Patty was mushy and under-seasoned. There was way too much mustard that overpowered everything else, and all the other toppings were barely there. Fries were good. We will not be ordering from here again.
