I went here close to closing time and there was no shortage of open seating. Nice and quiet. The worker claimed all their ice cream choices are homemade (a plus in my opinion). Only downside, aside from the limited flavor selection, was that the strawberry ice cream didn’t have strawberry chunks in it. That would only be possible for the shakes and possibly malts, but not the scoops.Still, the strawberry was pretty refreshing. The barking pretzel was a fine balance of salty and sweet, a fair number of pretzel and peanut butter chunks mixed in. Both were creamy and sweet enough to not be overwhelming. On top of that, each two scoop option was $3.50; a reasonable price eating out and for a decent amount of ice cream (in my opinion). If you’re in the area and you like ice cream, this would be a good place to hit up.
Fun place to bring the kids. I can honestly say that I have never had a phosphate soda out of a soda fountain. Its located in the museum and has lunch options for people. If you are hitting up the museum then doesn't hurt to stop for a treat.
Fair prices, food was good. Just missing the special touch you expect at a place like this
Convenient, well priced food. They have sundaes, shakes and soda floats!!! Friendly and amazing customer service too!!! Do note that the chili beef hot dogs take time to be thawed.
Will surely make a return trip. The bill was appropriate for the quality.
great hospitality. next time i'll be back with my friends. the bill was fair for the quality of the food.
looking forward to coming back with my friends. food is similar to a place in san francisco i liked.
The Duraham Museum is a wonderful way to spend a afternoon. The 50s style soda fountain is a pure delight.
