Terrible experience. Got there, party of 8. They initially sat us at a super small table. We asked for a different table so we weren't packed in like sardines. A short while later, we started having liquid dripped on us from the ceiling. On us, in our food, on the toddlers. We asked the waitress to move us to which she responded "I dont know why they seat people here, it always happens. They move us, and all our food to yet another table. This completely disrupted the kids, and our food was cold by the time we got re-seated. You'd think they would have offered some kind of discount for this nightmare, but nope.
Floors and table seats were dirty. Missed the chicken Alfredo pizza.
Waiter awesome! Food delicious!
The downtown location never misses! Great place for some spaghetti ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐!
Awesome place to get a meal
Wife's chicken Alfredo was 4 bits no joke. Toke 50 minutes to get our food. Gave us 2 peaces of bread. It's like they expect everyone to eat the shit out of salad bar
I had the beer cheese pasta and my son had the chicken Alfredo. Amazing! Our server was great!
We were a group of 4. We were seated immediately. The service was great and the food was delicious. We all loved the generous salad bar.

I came here for a late dinner after seeking places with gluten free items on the menu (I'm celiac). The host said they had GF pasta, so I was excited to try the place. The space itself is unique and historic, but the staff were not super attentive or helpful. I was dining alone and mentioned to the waitress I was going to use the restroom before sitting down to order food/drinks. She brought me a glass of water while I was gone and looked at me funny when I asked for another (since it had been sitting unattended, and I'm traveling alone). I ordered a GF pasta dish with sausage as part of their bottomless deal and was planning on getting a second helping, but the waitress said the kitchen had closed (even though the place was still open). I wish she would have alerted me that this was a possibility when I ordered the bottomless dish.
The gluten free noodles were probably the worst I've had anywhere โ they were the thin rice noodles like you would see in Pho or Pad Thai, had zero flavor, no texture, and went really poorly with Italian dishes. The small pasta portion was also swimming in way too much sauce.
All the chain restaurants offer decent GF noodle options these days, so I was surprised to see how little effort was spent on quality here. I'd rather they not advertise GF if this is what is offered. If you're GF/celiac, I would not recommend this place.
Dietary restrictions: They have GF noodles, but they're basic rice noodles; the taste and texture are terrible for Italian dishes.

First off I'd like to say Spaghetti Works in the Old Market is significantly more awesome than the old Court Avenue, Des Moines location. My children wanted to eat here twice while we had our vacation in Omaha.
Our second visit was for lunch, and we sat out on the patio. It was the perfect afternoon, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here.
Vegetarian options: Any pasta without meat. Eggplant. Salad bar.
Parking: We parked along the street and paid a meter.
Kid-friendliness: Kids love it
