Excellent food and service at Friday nights wine dinner. I have always disliked eggplant, but the chef has me rethinking that. His preparation was excellent. Service from Travis was a touch above, as always.

My wife and I go there every year for our anniversary. It's the best prime rib I've ever had in my life. I would suggest anybody that wants to have a romantic evening to go to Spencer‘s steak and chops.

We had 6:30 reservations on New Year's Eve and were seated immediately. We were directed to park in the Hilton next door and with the traffic down town this was a welcome accommodation. Our server, Mike, who we have had before, is exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly took our drink orders and talked about the nights menu. We each had a drink. The menu was a limited presentation with selections for appetizers, main course, and desert for a single $115 price. My wife had the duck and I had the lamb chops. Both were excellent. I had a seafood bisque which was as good as I have ever had. My wife had a pear salad. Food was all excellent. With drinks and tip we got out for about $400.

Great steak as always. The bone-in-ribeye special was amazing. Justin was our waiter and did an excellent job as usual. Will definitely be back with our friends.

We had a fantastic waiter to start and his honesty and humor were welcomed. Then everything went down hill. The speed of service went immediately down hill, so much so we had to stalk our waiter to get the check(we'd been waiting for 10-15 mins post meal). Also, the mains were fine. Not great, but fine considering the cost. Both filets and lambs chops were well done and we ordered medium and no one came to make sure our order was made correctly. It was disappointing for a $63 steak, but it was a chill atmosphere to share with friends. We didn't mention our overcooked food as we had a tight schedule and just wanted to get out of there. If you go, make sure you have all the time in the world in case you have the same experience. Pretty disappointed considering their price point.

We were very disappointed with our food. Four of us had steaks and all were only fair. Most of the side dishes were equally unimpressive. We ordered a full order of the mashed potatoes because they had been so good in the past. We didn't eat most of them because they were dry and bland. The salmon and fries were quite good, however. Our server was excellent as was the rest of the staff. Our meals at Spencer's have normally been excellent. Hopefully this was just an off night. We will most likely give them another try.

We've been going to Spencer's for birthdays and anniversaries for years. There's no better place for prime steak in Omaha in my opinion. No one cooks a better Pittsburgh style. Also love the ambience with the decor, jazz music and deep booths. The service staff is very knowledgeable. Spencer's is second to none.

We were passing thru and stayed at the Hilton Garden. We sat at the bar and the bartender, Marissa was amazing!!!! We will definitely be back!!!

I brought friends who were vegan and the chef made them a wonderful platter of grilled vegetables. Absolutely perfect!
Oysters (Pink Lady that night) were a superbly fresh start to the meal, accompanied by a well made Negroni for each of us. Splendid steaks, of course: filet mignon au poivre and an admirably aged bone-in rib eye with truffle butter. Satisfying sides of mushrooms and smashed potatoes. A fine Brunello di Montalcino to accompany it all. Finally, a decadent birthday slab of cheesecake. Service from Owen was attentive and informative. We hoped for a deeply indulgent evening and that's what we received and enjoyed.

Marissa was an excellent server. The other staff worked well together. I had the French Onion soup, the Bone in Ribeye, grilled Asparagus and the Apple Pie à la mode. Every dish exceeded my expectations. The kitchen staff seasoned everything perfectly. Added bonus, it was connected to the Hilton I was staying at. *****
