Good selection, but I did not appreciate the guy in the vest who, after I told him I was "just looking" launched into "Before you ask, we don't have any Buffalo Trace or anything from that distillery" and "If you want any, you have to go to a dive bar or a gas station." I did not ask about Buffalo Trace. I did not indicate I was looking for Buffalo Trace. In truth, I was looking at the local options, but he was so off-putting I walked out.

Great selection and very helpful staff. I was greeted right as I entered the store and was helped with finding some new wines and whiskey to try. I’m not very knowledgeable when it comes to wine and nicer whiskey so it was great to have some expert opinions.

Excellent shop! Was able to grab some Booker’s last time I was in, which isn’t always the easiest to find. Friendly staff too. Will definitely stop by when I’m in Omaha.

I was looking for a new gin cocktail to drink and they went above and beyond with helping me decide. I got my own private tasting and a history lesson on all the different kinds of gin. If you are looking for a new drink and not quite sure, give this place a try. You will not be disappointed!

Loved that I found (with the help of the very friendly employee) the liqueur I was looking for and haven’t been able to find anywhere else. I thought it seemed a little expensive but after checking some online prices it was very comparable. Also found another item there that I’m unable to find elsewhere but didn’t I buy it on this visit. I’ll definitely be back for it. They have a nice selection of hard to find items. Just ask and they’ll be happy to help you.

been a repeat customer to this fun little shop. massive selection of spirits, and for me: imported beers and lagers. they have a small bar that serves as well. staff is incredibly friendly, and helpful when looking for something specific. they'll continue to get my business for a long time coming.

Spirit World used to be a place I frequented. However, I had gone one day for snacks and wine with a friend - they kept my credit card to open a tab. When we were ready to leave, I asked to close my tab and they couldn’t find my credit card. I waited for over 20 minutes while they looked for it but didn’t find it. I paid with a different card and was promised I would get a call first thing in the morning after the cleaning crew had been there (thinking maybe they would find it). I waited until after 12pm the next day and had to call a total of 3 times to speak to someone - that’s when I found out they gave my card to someone else (who luckily returned it), and they had charged that customer’s bill to my card. I had to drive back to the store (I live in west Omaha so a bit of a drive for me). When I got there, I checked my credit card online and they hadn’t reversed the other customer’s charges. When I asked them to do so, I had to argue and explain why I wasn’t paying for both my tab and a stranger’s tab. I wasn’t offered any type of apology or compensation whatsoever. It wasn’t until I brought up that it was a PCI compliance violation that they gave me a $25 gift card.
