I like to pop in for lunch and look at the art. I absolutely love the food and the staff are great! Deshaun made my sandwich today and it was phenomenal! It was easy to eat and sooo delicious!
Sandwiches had plenty on them. Real roast beef was best have had in years.the red baron was a total surprise in flavor.both must try ..the staff really gives you honest opion so don't be shy ask..$25 For 12 inchroast beef and 6 inch red baron price is well worth it....

This was mine and my boyfriend’s first time eating here, and his friend highly suggested it. Unfortunately, all the talking up didn’t match what we saw. I spent $40 for a Cuban, Jalapeño popper Grilled Cheese, and a French onion soup. To start the soup was really heavy on the salt, almost like it came out of a progresso soup can. As someone who grew up on the east coast eating Cuban sandwiches and knowing the key things that make a Cuban a Cuban , I have certain expectations and Star Deli’s Cuban is honestly a fancy ham sandwich there is really nothing that screams Cubano. My boyfriend ordered the grilled cheese and the jalapeños were whole and made it difficult for him to eat. My last issue is the use of “Deli” when I see deli in an establishment name I’m expecting to walk into a delicatessen. To see a variety of cold cuts in a refrigerated case waiting to be slices and weighed, that’s not what I saw at Star Deli, there was no one in there and no actual sign of a deli to be seen. It’s honestly just a hole in the wall over priced and subpar sandwich shop, I get a better version of a Cuban from Jimmy's Eggs and sides for what I paid for the one sandwich from here.

We popped in to do some art things and ordered the Fungi Klab. What a surprise!! Local oyster mushrooms and herbed cream cheese on a French baguette - love at first bite💜. As if that isn’t enough to bring us back, Deshaun’s lovely demeanor and pride in creating delicious things do!!! Definitely recommend😊!
