So I originally wrote the glowing review below and completely forgot about it until the owner just responded. Unfortunately, that glowing review hadn’t lasted long after it was written.

We had an exterior insurance policy that covered the line from the main in the street that to our home. The line had been leaking so we filed a claim. A Raymond came out per insurance recommendation and fixed the issue which had been in the sidewalk in front of our home. When re-pouring the concrete the line hadn’t sat properly where it needed to be so their team took a sledge hammer and beat it into place…. Which cracked it. And we ended up with it still leaking under the fresh new concrete that they poured.

We contacted them again, which had been after them dodging us for a while. My husband had managed to get the owners number and bugged him enough to fix it (and speaking with insurance they had already been paid at this point). They came out and fixed it again, but with the new leak running and the large portions of line needing repaired in general this had cause our yard some major damage.

With our yard torn to shreds and sink holes everywhere we called the insurance company who then told us that A Raymond had already been paid to repair our yard, just didn’t bother to fill us in on that. After many phone calls again and having to pester the owners phone directly they finally sent some one out with a bag of grass seed that they half hazardly through around in the bald spots and walked away.

I understand some of this stuff may be unavoidable/out of your scope of work, but don’t accept payments for things you’re not going to take care of properly, or at the very least just be honest. And don’t dodge people, y'all just looked shady.

Now every time I see an A Raymond truck I give them the side eye. I will never use again and recommend most people to steer clear.

They came out on a Saturday, were in great spirits, and helped us in a timely manner. The two men that were here were sweethearts and would definitely would recommend.

Jon did amazing work! Got an appointment with A Raymond Plumbing through HomeServe, and every step was fantastic. Their scheduler was friendly and knowledgeable. Was able to get an appointment quickly and at a time that fit my schedule. Jon arrived on time, was super friendly and communicated well throughout the whole process. My backed up basement toilet ended up needing to be cleared all the way to the street, and he was able to take care of all the HomeServe stuff while continuing to work extremely hard, needing to auger multiple locations. Overall an excellent experience!

I had been dealing with a collapsed sewer line for a month when my insurer contacted A. Raymond Plumbing due to various issues with other plumbing companies. Within half an hour of hearing my plight I had a plumber en route. They warned me that it could be up to a week before they could get to it. That was two days ago. This morning I received a call asking asking if they could head on out. By 3 p.m. the entire sewer line was replaced, backfilled and the entire back yard was raked and seeded. Exemplary job and communication. If you hadn't seen the equipment, you would never know they had ever been here!

We had such a great experience! Our plumber Nathaniel was so polite and mindful. He got the job done quick and I couldn't have been more pleased.

Charged $2,500 to dig a hole and tell us it would be $14,000 to repair. SouthSide Plumbing dug 4 holes and repositioned the water meter for $8,500. Insurance covers SouthSide, choose them. 👍
