My friend and I stopped in after a walk at the nearby Zorinsky Lake for a morning coffee. We enjoyed looking at all of the morning baked good treats while sipping on our lattes and fresh brews. STIR Coffee Bar is a perfect cafe for a quick morning catch up or a coffee break before heading back into the office. The coffee is fresh and good!

I really like that this coffee bar opens early, isn’t too busy in the early mornings, and offers specialty drinks. They also have sugar free chocolate syrup which not a lot of higher end coffee shops offer. I think their hot drinks taste better than their iced ones.

We went here on a Tuesday morning and it was very busy and pretty loud too. So I wouldn’t count on being able to find a table. The drinks were just okay. I thought the baristas were pretty nice.

I loved the drink and the service here! I ordered the blueberry latte, and it was absolutely delicious — definitely recommend it. The staff was friendly and welcoming. However, I was really disappointed by how cold it was inside the building. Even though I was wearing a sweatshirt and thick pants, I couldn’t stand how chilly it was and eventually had to leave. Strangely, it was actually warmer outside in the rain than it was inside the coffee shop. I’d love to come back, but I hope they adjust the temperature for a more comfortable atmosphere.

As someone who has loved this place and gone multiple times before, today was overall terrible. As a barista, I understand when employees are tired or not feeling 100%, but the two baristas working today were honestly rude. I came in at around 3:43, and stood at the register until probably 3:57 when I finally called the store phone to see if anyone was working. Figured maybe they were doing dishes, but two baristas (I assume high schoolers) came out of the kitchen after answering the phone with, “Hello?” I politely asked if anyone was working as I’ve been at the register waiting for 7-10 minutes. They hung up, came out, and took my order kind of annoyed, and handed me my drink. I said thank you and was met with an “uh-huh”. I replied to have a great day but she just turned around to talk to the other barista. My oat milk capp was too hot and not steamed well (I watched them steam it twice) and the espresso was very overextracted. It’s a big bummer because I love this place and I haven’t had an experience like this ever.
