My singular experience was pleasant. I sat at the bar, and even though there were many small groups around it me, it was still a quiet environment. The music volume was very low, I can't tell you how much I loved that aspect. The bartender was a total pro. My food was delivered quickly and was excellent. I had the goat cheese balls. They were so amazing I pretty much inhaled them. Then I ordered the grilled salmon salad and oh my stars and garters, it was exquisite. I have attached a photo of said salad.

The atmosphere was fun and the appetizers we got were amazing! The bartender was friendly and attentive. This would be a perfect place for a dinner or date.

Our dinner was mediocre, and the service was absolutely horrible. We have given them a number of chances, but this is the last one.

I was excited to try The Stokin Goat for restaurant week, but this was hands down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in Omaha. Everything from start to finish was a complete letdown.

For appetizers, the deviled eggs were flavorless, and the French onion soup was nothing more than bland, watered-down potato soup. Not even close to what was advertised.

For entrées, we tried both the chicken and the steak, and both were cooked into oblivion. The steak I ordered medium rare was delivered so overdone it might as well have been beef jerky. It was inedible.

For dessert, we wanted two carrot cakes, but they were already out. We ended up with one carrot cake and one caramel cake. The caramel cake was so stiff and hard it was barely edible. The carrot cake frosting tasted fine, but the slice itself looked like it had been patched together just to make it work as a serving.

This place feels like it’s cutting every corner possible, and the food quality reflects that. Omaha has too many genuinely good restaurants to waste your money here.

I was excited to try this place out for restaurant week but after waiting an hour and a half we had to leave without getting our 2nd and 3rd course. We watched folks around us get served and struggled to find our waitress to pay for our 1st course before leaving. They at least didn’t charge us but we left pretty disappointed.

Love S&G - currently my favorite restaurant. We like to go and sit outside on the patio. Good wine, and great food! shrimp scampi, and Bri appetizers are a must! (I always request more bread with the brie.)

I recently visited Stokin’ Goat in Omaha, and overall, it was an excellent experience. The restaurant has an unusual yet stylish design and a very pleasant atmosphere, which made the visit enjoyable.
That said, there were a couple of disappointments with the food. The soup was overly salty, and the salad came with canned salmon instead of the lightly salted salmon I mistakenly expected. Despite this, the quality of service, the ambiance, and the overall impression of the place were very positive.
I would definitely consider returning, especially for the unique vibe and atmosphere.

The food was good but the server appeared to be mad at the world and possibly allergic to smiling.

Food is mediocre. Got a Long Island iced tea and didn’t taste right. Sent it back to be remade and tasted the same. Service is good.

Went for brunch on Sunday. Loved the bottomless mimosas and the breakfast sandwich and french toast were both delish! The service however was very slow even tho there were only a few tables. No one bussed our plates until we got the check. I will likely return for the drinks and food but will keep in mind that my service will be slow.

I walked into the Stokin Goat on Thursday, May 29th on my day off. When I walked in it was dimly lit and very classy and I was greeted first thing as I walked in, the bartender I had was amazing. I told her I've never been there and that I had wanted her to pick my appetizer and my entree and the beer she picked all three. The calamari, the hanger steak, and the Goat wheat Beer and all things were amazing. I highly recommend this place for date or anytime someone from out of town comes in and wants a classy experience.

It's good but not great, wish the prices reflected that.

The restaurant looked nice and the menu was great. I ordered the salmon salad. It was my first time there and I had fish bones in my salad. It was super strange because it wasn’t a solid piece of salmon in the salad, it was chunks throughout the salad. When I pointed it out to the server and showed it to him, he said “oh no, sorry” and asked if I was finished eating. I said I obviously was and he took it away. There was no offer to make it right in any way or remove it from my bill.

That was super disappointing. It’s pretty sad to pay $20 for a salad with fish bones in it.
