Stopped in on a whim, lived here 33 years and this was my first visit. It will definitely not be the last. I bought Wisconsin brats and sausage links and I found English bangers and Portuguese Lunguica! Absolutely outstanding! The customer service was fantastic and very personable.
Ordered 20 lbs of pulled pork and 20 lbs of brisket. Meat was decently good. Service was awful. Ken quoted me (twice!!!) that both meats were $8.95/lb. Brisket at time of pick up was charged $14.95/lb. When I called to ask why the change in price, all that was said was… “OK. That’s the price. What do you want me to do?’ Very unapologetic and rude. Love this place. Time has frozen still here. They have an unusual inventory, I called ahead to make sure they had my item, and they saved it for me! Very friendly, helpful staff in a lovely south Omaha neighborhood. Prices were reasonable.
