We have been going to Sunnyside since they opened but the quality has gone downhill lately. The hashbrowns are always so greasy that bag is falling apart and transparent by the time it’s ready. The biscuit dough is so raw on the breakfast sandwich that it is inedible. I thought this was a fluke about a month ago so I decided to give them another chance today and it was the exact same. Unacceptable for the price and the wait time.

This cafe used to be Richies.. We have fun memories of the dining of that then restaurant. We were at VA on 41 Woolworth, and Sunnyside on Center was close by.
They have done a wonderful job cleaning up and renovating this old building. Very nice atmosphere. My biscuit was burned on the bottom; my husband's was not. The sausage
gravy was brown gravy with non sausage flavor. I would make white gravy and add some sage flavoring, too. The scrambled eggs were powered eggs. We were disappointed.

My household loves going to Sunnyside. Our favorites are the hashbrown thowndown, the Philly burrito, and grilled cheese. We have never had bad food. It is always tasty and well prepared.

Got the breakfast quesadilla. For $12 I felt like it was a rip off. The eggs taste fake, the sausage was greasy, and the sauce was on one side of the quesadilla. They also forgot the breakfast poutine, which I understand things happen. But when I called, no one answered. I probably won’t be going back food is overpriced and not that great.

Staff are always super friendly but the food quality has really started to suffer. Undercooked bacon, barely cooked and unseasoned hashbrowns, and overcooked eggs left us unsatisfied. Very disappointing as we used to love eating here!

I love this place!! I have always been treated with a smile and a welcoming attitude. The portions are great for the price. $15.00 for made-to-order breakfast sandwich, hash browns and a drink. Cheaper than fast food and much better. In hurry, I order ahead and pick it up. They also serve biscuits and gravy and standard breakfast
Kid-friendliness: I see kids here all the time. My daughter loves this place
