Food is good but their service is very poor. They choose to list themselves on DoorDash and I placed an order at 6:20 PM with ETA at 30 minutes. I receive notification at 6:56 PM that the door dash driver who was already at the restaurant waiting was told by the staff they could not honor the order because they were “closing” resulting in my order being cancelled. Not worth the trouble and they shouldn't be listed on the app.

Dumplings are amazing and the Taiwan fried rice and lo mein really did remind me of my visit to Taiwan. I highly recommend this place!

Nice and quick. Really liked the Taiwan minced pork rice. The baby bok and egg were great and the dish wasn't too heavy. General's chicken was pretty good too, but I'll order it more spicy ik the future. Very friendly owner.

I ordered the combination fried rice, and it was easily the best fried rice I've ever had. So delicious. Friendly, excellent service in a clean, calming space. Highly recommend!

The food here is next-level good and have flavors I hadn't tried before. When I saw this restaurant open up amid several empty store fronts I was worried, but this is absolutely worth going out of your way to try. I had the pork belly on rice, my wife had general's chicken, and my 4 y/o had chicken fried rice. All were awesome. We had excellent service, but we were the only ones there. Hopefully this review will help change that.

Went to Taiwan Cafe tonight and couldn't be happier about it. Everything was awesome. Our waitress was super nice and very attentive. The food was great. The crab rangoon and egg roll were really good, and the main courses were even better. My wife got the General's Chicken and I had the Pork Belly with steamed buns and they were both absolutely DELICIOUS. Seriously, this was one of the best initial experiences we've had at a restaurant in a long time. We cant wait to go back.

Really clean and the staff are incredibly nice. The food was interesting and different and so we're the drinks, I'd probably go there again to try some new stuff again.

I enjoyed my experience at Taiwan Cafe and I think it is a different take on Asian food in Omaha. I've only had Taiwanese food a handful of times (most notably the beef noodle soup) and I was interested to see what other types of food was offered here. The service was all great and we were well tended to. I got the $12 pork chop special (on Friday) and my girlfriend the orange chicken ($9). Good: -Service was excellent (maybe the only time I can say that for an Asian restaurant). -The food was good value- the portions were large and the price was cheap relative to other Chinese restaurants. -I enjoyed my pork chop. It wasn't the easiest thing to eat with the bone in and I would have liked it to have been a bit more tender, but overall, it was very flavorful. Total comfort food. A bit more rice would have helped hold the sauce and egg a bit better (by the end, the rice was soupy). Overall, good dish. -Orange chicken was slightly above average. Crispy and the sauce was nice. Not the best I've ever had but still worth ordering. -Crab Rangoons. These were very much above average and came out hot, fresh, and crispy. Bad: -Nothing, really. I'm not well versed enough in Taiwanese food to argue for or against any staples on their menu. The menu looked a bit fusion-like with Ramen but that's okay. Overall, I would definitely come back and try Taiwan Cafe again and I am interested in trying the pork belly over rice. There are plenty of traditional Chinese-American dishes for those who aren't as adventurous as well.

Hours says it's open until 8:00 PM. It is 2:29 PM and no one is there. The doors are locked and no one is answering the phone. I am a hungry customer and I am disappointed that they are not open during their posted hours. The TV and lights were all on in the restaurant too and I waited for 30 minutes.

Love the food and atmosphere! We accidentally found this place while in town for the Berkshire Hathaway annual meeting. The owner Jenny made us hotpot and 麻辣香鍋, in addition to Taiwanese favs - absolutely tasty! And this is coming from someone who frequents Asian restaurants in Chicago. Must try!!!

I'm so glad I stumbled upon this place! I was craving some ramen and this was close to where I was having some car work done so I took a chance. The service was fast and very friendly, and then I found out the owner had previously owned Formosa Zen! The gyoza were very tasty and the Taiwan Beef Noodle soup was steaming hot and wonderful! I'll definitely be going back
