Heard about this place and decided to try it for the first time. The ladies were very sweet and answered any questions I had about the menu. And the food was amazing!!!! 😋 Definitely coming back for more. Unfortunately, they didnt have any carrot cake when I went in which was recommeneded to me by a friend to try but they had other options to choose from.

I’ve had better frozen tamales from the grocery store. Nasty food for waaaaaay too much money. Bland and unseasoned. Cheesecake was stale and hard.

First time here. The tomales were bigger than I expected. Very tasty though and filling. I'll be back

Best tamales around! Get yourself a dozen to carry out and enjoy.

Gals were very nice, but the breakfast burrito ($8) was literally 2 scrambled eggs, a spoon full of chorizo, and lacked any flavor. Plus $1 to use a debit. Eeeeek, won't return.
Quality with good prices one of the best in town hands down

Pastor was very tasty and moist highly recommend. Pollo was dry and lacked seasoning. Asada was tough and needed salt. Salsa was tasty and not overly spicy. Tortillas were dry and somewhat difficult to bite through. Guests outside looked like they were eating nachos with a salsa Verde and they looked very appealing and delicious. Service was nice and friendly.

Tamalixto's was the prime lunch spot for my husband and I this summer while we were working on our garden. We'd leave with happy tummies, but wouldn't feel too heavy or bloated after, so we could go right back to work lol. I love this place. The staff are so friendly and welcoming (even if your Spanish is terrible 😅) and the food is delicious; my favourite is the carne asada torta. Oh, and their desserts? Top tier (pun intended, because you can order whole cakes from them, too!)
Anyway, if you're looking for authentic Mexican food that won't break the bank, go here.

The food is riquísimo! The wonderful lady helping us tonight was AMABLE and helpful with 🙋🏼♀️❓about the menu. There are a few tables inside and one outside. Sit in your car or stand and talk to the other patrons. We had una torta de carne asada 🤤and una ensalada like tostada thing with chicharrónes and tomatoes and cabbage tossed ina vinaigrette con crema on top,🔥
Y CHAMPURRADOS 🍫😋
Y pastel de 3 leches🍰🤤
