Really nice staff, and pretty good place. However, I didn't really enjoy the ice cream. I have had other premium ice cream that was much better and better priced. I would give it another try if I was in Ohma and try some different flavors, there are likely better options nearby.

I am nothing if not a cynic. Before our trip to Omaha a friend kept telling me we had to go to Ted & Wally’s.“Ok, ok,” I thought while mentally rolling my eyes. “I’m sure it’s not THAT good.”Well, if there’s such a thing as crow ice cream I would be eating it because this ice cream was THAT good.I got the keto Lemon and Chocolate Chip flavor. I’m suspicious of anything keto but the scooper explained it meant there wasn’t any extra sugar. I got it and it might now be my fave ice cream combo ever. No extra sugar was necessary in this creamy flavorful scoop.We went on a cold, rainy day in March so lines weren’t a problem.

My daughter and I visited on Thursday night. We thought it might be less busy than the weekends--wrong! The line was just starting to go out the door when we got there. We waited anyway because we know that's pretty typical and the line moves quickly. Their seating area is not very big, but in warmer months people will often eat outside as well. They have a mix of tables and booths where you can sit. Ted & Wally's posts the day's flavors on a big chalkboard display, and they're known for making their own waffle cones in-house. The variety changes daily and even throughout the day---two flavors that were on their Facebook post earlier in the day had been switched to two new flavors by the time we got there, around 8:30 pm. Along with ice cream dishes and cones, they make sundaes, shakes, banana splits, and have toppings you can mix with your ice cream. My daughter got a single scoop of vanilla, and I got a single scoop of blueberry pomegranate sorbet. I say single scoop because that's the size we ordered, but I watched my server scoop my sorbet out of the container four times. It was more than enough for me--but they do offer larger sizes as well. This was our first visit back for the spring, but I am sure we will return many times over the spring and summer months.

After a spicy supper we were all looking for something cold (& sweet!) while walking around the Old Market area of downtown Omaha. Delicious homemade ice cream! Seems like they have different flavors daily. It's a cute setup in an old filling station. The service was good. There was a line, someone ahead of us said there's usually a little bit of a line but it moved quickly. Great place!

Average ice cream. Seems to rely more on nostalgia and location than flavor. It's turned into a bit of a tourist trap.

The customer service at the Benson location was horrible. First off, we did have gift certificates (QR code) here and tried to use them but were told they couldn't be scanned and that they would have to be used manually. Only to be asked to get more details from an image. After stating for the third time that the image was what we had or needed the cashier scanned the gift certificate and got the code they needed. Secondly we all got two scoops in waffle cones most of my family got two different scoops and got what they asked for but i requested two scoops of cookie dough and when i was handed my cone i noticed there was no cookie dough at all just vanilla ice cream. I mentioned this to the cashier and she stated, "no thats cookie dough". After getting to a table, both my husband and I checked the ice cream but were unable to find any cookie dough, at which point my husband asked again and was told that it "was definitely cookie dough, but was the end of the batch".... and there was no cookie dough at all in my cone... which was just vanilla ice cream...
