Ted & Wally's Ultra Premium Ice Cream

While waiting for my order at A Taste of New Orleans I decided to give this place a try seeing as though the two businesses occupy the same space. I ordered the Strawberry Shortcake Sundae. There was nothing special about it. I wish it actually had cake in it. It’s literally ice cream with frozen strawberry topping and whipped cream if you want. I’d probably give them another try because they had other flavors I’d love to try!!

Parking: Only three spots available for parking and this place shares the same space with another restaurant.

The ice cream while kinda expensive is definitely worth it. The young man working there today was very nice and knowledgeable about the ice cream. My only problem is I had to save half of my ice cream for my wife. Next time 2 bowls lesson learned. Lol

After enjoying our dinner, we walked down the street to get some ice cream. The place definitely has the old school ice cream parlor vibe and signs state homemade ice cream.

Upon entering, its a large shop with neon lights everywhere. They have free samples and a large Cajun restaurant inside. That's a review for a later date.

The wife and I ordered Raspberry white chocolate chip bowl and a hot fudge sundae. Both were delicious! Prices were good. Nothing expensive. Service was good. Definitely would come back if I find myself in the area again.

Great flavors and ice cream treats. The workers did not reach out or ask questions and stared off a bit, not paying attention if I asked a question. This prices were high. There was a keto ice cream option that was appreciated, but only one flavor. I may return in the future if there are more options.

Parking: Parking in front is available with some paid options, and free 3 hour parking a block back off the street.

The cutest little ice cream shop/ NOLA food experience. We went strictly for the ice cream so I’ll stick to that! The ice cream isn’t icey at all. The sherbet bright and flavorful. The neon dripping ice cream sign may just be my favorite signage I’ve ever seen and the customer service was top notice. The two young men working behind the counter were incredibly kind to our kiddos.

We were excited to go try this place after we saw twisters. So it was a little late. We were the only ones there. So no lines if you go at 10:30 on a Thursday. They have some pretty exotic flavors. We kept it pretty plain with chocolate vanilla and butter beer. We got the hot fudge sundae and the cookie sundae. The sundaes were good but they had so much hot fudge on them that it was really hard to actually taste the ice cream. Not that the hot fudge wasn’t good. It was just a lot. The place had a cool old school vibe.
