What a wonderful way to end our lunch. First trying Taste of New Orleans which was A 5 star all the way around. Then the absolutely tasty ice cream !!!!! We were pretty full from lunch so split a couple flavors. Recommend this place to everyone!!!
Went on a recommendation of a friend. Great ice cream. We enjoyed it.
Expensive, small servings. Friendly service though.
Not the friendliest staff here last time I visited but the ice cream was great as usual. A bit more customer service would be great! May be try learn from Trader Joe’s?
very good ice cream
the remains of my catfish sandwich. im just getting over a sinus infection, and i cant smell or taste much of anything and this was awesome. sooo good. i could taste it through all the conjestion. theyre generous with the sauce.
the guy in the kitchen who made my sandwich is the goat. when he told me to enjoy my meal it felt like he meant it. the other employees are lame tho, i felt like i was bothering the female cashier by existing. but its fine. ive noticed a lot of business in benson are like that, not rude, but not friendly either. not the most welcoming neighborhood. but this catfish is the bomb
Thought it would be nice to get some ice cream with my wife and kids after school. Little did I know that the young man in the R2D2 beaning that was working had other plans. From the second we got to the counter he had an attitude and was extremely impolite to my wife and kids. The gal behind the counter was outstanding. She gets 5 stars. He was getting upset that our 3 year old was having difficulty picking just one flavor. We were also the only people in the shop. So there wasn’t a line of people behind us. After sitting down and eating my littles were interested in the ice cream making process that they have on display. So I stood over there me talking to my boys about it. See the photo below. This guy comes running behind the counter and into my kids faces telling them to back off and get away. All while I was right there making sure nobody touched anything. This kid needs a to learn customer service ASAP.
If I see him working the next time I take my family we will happily turn around and leave. He made for a nice treat seem like we were the biggest inconvenience to his day. And to be upset about a 3 year old picking between S’mores, Chocolate Peanut Butter Oreo and just plain Chocolate is insane. All kids would have a hard time picking just one flavor for a small cone.
And the cherry on top of that is the price was $7 a scoop and the ice cream melted faster than you could eat it.
Good ice cream for SURE but not 100% on the price!
Great ice cream and plenty of options for lactose intolerant/vegan people. The cones are super fresh and tasty too.
Phenomenal ice cream, but the prices are steep!

Straight forward: I’m Italian and a gelato eater since forever 🥹 and $7 for an ice cream with ice crystals on it isn’t worth my standard for American prices.
It wasn’t creamy, only frozen ice with a diluted chocolate flavor in it ( and I chose Dutch chocolate). I had better ice cream at McDonals for half the price.
Have not been here for a while. But I enjoyed stopping in for the first time in many years. The ice cream did not disappoint. This has been a favorite for decades.
My I've cream was melted before we even left the ice cream shop. The flavors were good.
I had vegan vanilla coffee bean ice cream and it was delicious. Service was amazing, the ice cream was buttery and amazing!
Very good. Classic ice cream parlor, good flavors, reasonably priced!
