During our most recent visits to Omaha, we set out as usual to research and visit any potential stand out craft cocktail bars. My searches led us to a few places including The Berry & Rye.Our conclusion? The Berry & Rye was the most unique and exceptional craft cocktail bar we visited. It had a true unique and independent vibe, The decor was posh, swank and vibrantly eclectic and classy, the mixologist was super cool and chill, welcoming and hospitable, and talented and independently innovative. We enjoyed our craft cocktails; and then I enjoyed a pour of my favorite Italian digestíf (Braulio) afterwards.

Drinks were delicious. We had Pearls of Pantao and Lavender Blue. But greater than our drinks was the service — shoutout to Nathaniel! Love you.

Great drinks and great vibe to the bar as a whole. Service was good. Only "disappointing" aspect was that the drinks were premade and just poured, shaken and served. Still tasted great and presented beautifully.

Bartender was a jerk. Service was very slow, and the drinks were terrible. We will not be back to this establishment.

The place itself was such a cool little spot and great place to hangout and chill with people. Drinks were pretty good.

The first thing you'll notice is how beautiful this bar is! Its an amazing place to relax with drink. The next thing is their seemingly endless whiskey selection. Hundreds of rare and unusual whiskeys are available! And a large variety of creative cocktails as well! The service is excellent! If you're nearby, don't miss the opportunity to have a drink here! You wont regret it!

Truly some of the best cocktails I've ever had, and some of the best mixologist experience as well. This is the kind of place where you try to get a seat at the bar and just ask the bartender to make you something good. My colleague and I went here a few times while out on a contract gig, and as long as you went during off-peak hours, the place was pleasantly quiet and you could watch the bartenders practice their craft. We had wonderful chats with them, and were exposed to new cocktails (after asking for a drink that used the sphere ice the bartender was so carefully making, I was exposed to his twist on a rum old fashioned which was incredible). Their cocktail menu is vast and original. The staff were really cool. Prices were expected for a cocktail lounge. Atmosphere was speakeasy.

$15 for a mediocre old fashioned. Neat atmosphere. WAY OVERPRICED.

On my next visit back to Omaha, I had to visit this place. It is a great sit down lounge to just chat with friends and have a drink. We found our seat and were served fast. I got a lavender blue, which is my favorite drink there. Overall, I recommend it for anyone looking for just a place to catch with old friends or date night.

On par with the likes of Aviary Chicago and Death & Co, Berry and Rye is a gem of Omaha and worth a trip dedicated just to it.Quirky and professional, it can suit whatever your style is and is sure to leave you impressed.
