It’s hard to explain, but a visit to Astute Coffee feels like home in the best possible way. I tried one of the seasonal flavors and it was just as pleasant as the vibes, swirled with brown sugar and a cinnamon kiss. The warm and welcoming staff and the unique rounded interior add to the great atmosphere, but the most special thing about my visit was the smile on my niece’s face when she realized her hot chocolate had a toasted marshmallow flavor. Not only that but appreciate their dedication to helping young adults impacted by foster care. Do yourself a favor and stop by this gem of a place

Astute Coffee has such a unique setup! I tried their mango smoothie, and it was delicious. I also got the chai iced tea, which was just as good. The staff is super friendly, which made the experience even better!

The only thing I wasn’t a fan of is that it’s a bit echoey inside, but aside from that, it’s a great spot to grab a drink and hang out. Definitely worth a visit!

Astute has the most extensive specialty coffee offerings I’ve seen in any shop. The barista was excited to prepare a cup and had a quick chat about how it tasted while I was drinking it. I’m really glad I found a place with people that enjoy coffee as much as I do.

This is such a fun coffee shop with a great atmosphere. It doesn’t hurt that they make a great latte as well 😉 Loved the pro-trans posters and fund pool on the counter as well. I’d choose to support this place over anywhere else any day!

We were visiting Omaha and wanted to find a quality, local coffee shop. This spot gave us one of our best coffee experiences in a long time, and in a very uniquely designed building. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and seemed to have a supreme love for coffee and their customers. They know their coffee, and are inclusive to all types of coffee drinkers. Their pour over menu is extensive, and they even offers us off-menu options they were testing out. The owner gave us samples of different roasts they were brewing with genuine excitement. Incredibly friendly people! This is a can’t miss spot! Their mission and employment of kids within the foster system is also incredible. Look no further if you’re looking for an all-around great experience with an exceptional cup of craft coffee.

Great crew and coffee here. One of my favorite places to drop by and get a drink and maybe a Danish. Close enough to downtown to be a convenient spot but just slightly off on its own enough that there is usually parking right across from the door. Also in a cool building straight out of the space age. Plus they are a nonprofit that teaches job skills to young people with a history in the foster care system. Love to get a white pistachio mocha made by Autumn.

This place has the great coffee—if not the best! it was really smooth and the beans weren’t burnt! I ordered a non-flavored latte and it’s probably been the most enjoyable coffee I’ve had. Thanks for the pick me up! I’ll see ya’ll in the future.

A coffee shop that’s also a social enterprise? Count me in! This place combines amazing coffee with an inspiring mission.
The locally roasted coffee is simply outstanding, and their buttery pastries are the perfect complement—don’t miss out on them. The cozy leather couches make it a comfortable spot to relax or catch up on work.

What truly sets this café apart is its commitment to helping alumni of foster care programs build career skills and foster personal growth. It’s heartwarming to support a business that gives back in such a meaningful way.

Pro Tip: Pair the drip coffee with a pastry for a classic combo, but if you’re in the mood to explore, the pour-overs offer a more nuanced and experimental coffee experience.

Highly recommend this place for both the coffee and the cause!

Astute is a cool downtown spot. Good coffee, unique architecture. Very well designed and maintained! Plenty of spots and tables have room, does not feel cramped like many other places can feel. Some neat lounge-type seating on the sides. Overall will be back for both the drinks and food.

My boyfriend and I tried this place twice. His cold brew taste burn (if that’s even possible) and my matcha wasn’t even blended. Had to sip up chunks. We wanted to give it one more fair try but his coffee had chunks in it, like they used curdled milk or something and my coffee simply just didn’t taste good.
