Being from Southern California and loving Mexican food. I have to say this is without a doubt the best and most authentic I’ve had anywhere in Nebraska! I’ll keep coming back for your burritos (Cali and Carne Asada) ,tacos and tamales. You guys nailed it! Keep going!
From time to time I get send to Nebraska for work, I stopped at the churro spot in September 2024 and loved the tacos. Now it’s a MUST making a stop at “The Churro Spot” before heading back to Chicago. The tacos with that salsa Roja ❤️… last time I was there la salsas were a bit too watery and wasn’t that spicy anymore. But it’s ok the churro spot is still my spot in Omaha. Don’t forget to get a Churro to go…🍓 💯

Meat to fat didnt enjoy for the price the quality sucks never coming back here
The Oreo churro was my fav out of the 3 we ordered! Very Friendly and fast service!
Some of the best locally owned Mexican food in Omaha. Everything here is delicious, made and served fresh. The owner is very hands on and the staff is always friendly. Highly recommend!
Food is mid. Customer service is trash. Restaurant is ugly. I was sitting inside eating with my friends inside we talked for maybe an hr the owner came over and started clean around us in the middle if the day several times seems to be glaring at us. Made us very uncomfortable like he wanted us to leave.

When I went I was on a mission, to get a phenomenal torta, one that I am pleased to say I accomplished. I went with the carne asada, the meat was full of flavor, the bread was soft and delicious, the fixing were a perfect combination of lettuce, onion, tomato, avocado and pickled jalapeno. As I ordered my attention was grabbed by tge wide selection of churros so I had to try a variety of the delectable treats. Hours after my excursion I was thinking about the sandwich I had the delight of enjoying and have already set my mind on making a repeat visit soon.

Food truck. Very expensive - $8 for 6 tiny churros. Carnival food prices. Will not go back.

For a 4.7/5 on google, I really wasn’t at all impressed.
4 tacos for $14.00. Generous amount of meat, but really some of the most bland pastor I’ve ever tasted.
1 pork tamale - it was good, but probably the least amount of meat I’ve seen in a tamale anywhere.
Elote - this was fantastic and the highlight of the meal. The elote saved this from being a 2 star review
I tried all of the salsas. They were all fresh and familiar flavors
$28.xx with a glass bottle of coke. Quite expensive for what you get.

If you’re a fan of places like Le Masa or other chains then by all means go there. Gems like Churro are best kept to people who enjoy real hand made food. Never had a bad meal there and I think they have the best fish tacos in town. South Omaha and Midtown is blessed to have a ton of great family owned places to get fresh tacos and Churro is one of them.
