I love it here. Great steak (although a bit salty for my palate), quiet, speakeasy atmostphere and very friendly waiter, Joe. Wish they don't cut up the steak though.Highly recommend for anniversaries and bdays. We always end up paying $400+, but the experience is quite worth the price.

WARNING! The staff seem friendly but they make false allegations when you tip the wrong person. We tipped $100 to Peter to move to a quiet table. Everything was great until the manager came in and said we made racial allegations against two staff members. The first person was upset because someone asked for “mucho” pepper on the salad. Apparently that is racist even if they are married to a Hispanic lady. The second person was upset because she couldn’t move us but Peter did, so we tipped him $100.They have lost our business for sure. I don’t recommend anyone going there.

I wasn't familiar with this hidden Chophouse located inside the Cottonwood Hotel, next door to the Channel 6 network building. If you are able, parking is free in front of the Channel 6 building while paying parking meters are across the street. The hotel doesn't have a great visible sign pointing out where the Chophouse is located. Once you enter, when you see the registration desk, turn left and take the narrow stairs down to the lower level, and you will see the bar and host station. Reservations were made in advance, and seating was performed quickly. The server was good except for telling us the specialties until after the fact. I ordered a specialty T bone combo with filet mignon along with the cream corn. Wait time was minimal, and the kitchen staff brought the dishes personally to you. Overall, I had a great time. Both steaks were tasty, tender, and succulent.

So, I'm here for work and sitting at the bar area for dinner. It's a really beautiful setting and I love it. The food....not so much. Ordered the 8oz filet. It looks about 4oz and it's just not good. There is ZERO flavor. I ordered the medium rare and it's cooked ok, but it's soooo dry. How is a medium rare filet DRY?? So disappointing. I ordered the roasted mushroom side order and again...just ok. No amazing flavor I'd look for in roasted mushrooms. Please ...is there decent food in Omaha?!?! I also talked to the manager Alex and he could have basically cared less: Paid $68 for a bad steak....but the bartender was lovely!!!

The service was great. We ordered a Tomahawk steak and two sides. The steak was inedible. It was tough and completely full of fat. Wasn't trimmed properly. For $160, I'll pass. I would absolutely not return. Steak was terrible.

Hands down, one of my most favorite places!!! The food, atmosphere and service is phenomenal. We have held retiring, birthday and anniversary celebrations in the Wine Cellar room. The private dining experience was amazing. You have to request Ashlyn, she always takes such great care of us. She’s a true rockstar! You will not regret dining at The Committee Chophouse!

My husband and I came here to celebrate an early Valentine's. The food, atmosphere and our waitress were all wonderful. The only issue we ran into was some rudeness from the other staff, and it was definitely a long experience. Table service, drink refills, etc. took awhile. It took at least 15 minutes to get our initial drinks as well. Just a bummer! I would expect more when you're spending more than $400 for a dinner for two.

Vegetarian options: This has been our go to place for special occasions for a few years now. Great food, drinks, and ambience. All the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Our favorite server Ashlynn is amazing and always has great recommendations. The cowboy ribeye and Delmonico are my favorite. The creamed corn is also a must try. Even though they are known as a steakhouse, if you are a vegetarian, please give them a try! They offer a vegetarian dinner plate as well as some other options throughout the menu. I have to say that chef Brandon’s vegetarian dinner creations are incredible!! My husband has never been disappointed!

I want to start by saying the server Joe was super helpful and nice. He knew the menu so well and his suggestions were spot on.Delmonico I got was medium rare and just perfect. I would recommend probably one of the best steaks I had.Wedge salad was good. Blue cheese was not too overpowering. Over all everything worked togetherAged cheddar Mac had some incredible flavors and hit my mouth different.

I had heard this place could be hit or miss, and when drinks from another table were plopped down in front of me, I knew it was gonna be a miss. The Delmonico steak was over seasoned. The smoked duck was cold. Our server disappeared, and never asked about our food so nothing ever got fixed. For a high-end steakhouse this gets you two stars. At these prices, you can't afford to have hit or miss meals. I won't be back.

10/10 experience every single time. Ashlyn (hope I’m spelling that right) is one of the best servers I’ve ever had in my life. They go above and beyond. Food. Service. Atmosphere. Highly recommend for any special night out. They’re also extremely diligent about dietary restrictions.

Great ambiance, friendly and competent service...steak was a perfect medium rare, duck was slightly overcooked, but sauce made up for it. Sides were ample and tasty....we will be back!!!
